I would REALLY suggest going somewhere else. I bought a DNA 200 and the VTC mini for my wife and when we got the VTC it had these issues a bunch of other people are having. VapeNW told me to send them a video of it malfunctioning and they would start the return process. I sent them a very detailed video of it dropping in resistance then giving a anemic vape. I then put the tank on another mod and showed that the tank worked fine. I then did the same with another tank and mod to show the VTC failing again and the other mod once again did well with the second tank. I sent both videos really believing that they would take care of me. And I told them if they simply looked at this thread it's very obvious that this is a faulty board/mod. They sent me a email basically saying that's how it works and they couldn't help me. I then called and asked for a manager and explained everything once again in great detail and he kept saying that's how they work. Now I own 6 TC devices and 2 DNA 200's I believe I know how TC is basically supposed to work. I tried to keep my cool during the conversation with VapeNW but it is difficult when they are telling you something that's not true. I asked him if he was in my shoes how he would feel and he said he was sorry, well sorry doesn't put a working mod in my hand. Before I ordered from VapeNW I did research on them and got mixed results. People said good things and some real bad things recently with returns and how they left people with clearly broken mods. I would suggest to go to any place but them, they treated me like a idiot and I had just spent over 200 in there store. There are a lot of other places that have good CS with the same products. If you buy from them just hope nothing is wrong with any of your purchases. Sorry for the rant I just can't stand awful CS especially when your spending hundreds at there store and they treat you like you bought a gum ball lol.
dude you still have that vid?
would you mind posting it on this site

temp protection issues

hope it helps us fix the issues
and have your long rant go along with the vid

thanks

I knew I should have kept the video but it was on my iPhone and I have 1500 pictures and 40 little videos so my lame 16gb phone is full and I deleted it. Actually maybe I can get it from my emails. I'll talk to my wife since I'm not to good with that stuff lol.

There are a lot more places to get them and you would pay close to the same price. If you need help finding a place I'll look around for you or I'm sure some other people here could suggest a much better place. It's ashame because my wife loves the look and feel of the mod. You live and you learn, when I saw those bad reviews of VapeNW I should have ran when I had the chance.
Thanks, I'm at My Vapor Store, I've had good experiences with them also. Please don't give me a horror story about them lol! I've used all internal batteries to this point, so I need a couple batteries and a charger also. I'm looking at the Evic VTC, couple LG batteries, and a nitecore lcd charger for $80 shipped. Seems decent. The VTC is $44 at My Vapor Store.

That seems like a good deal. I wish I could have got a mod similar to that for that price when I started vaping. I found those videos Zeus01 I'll have my wife post it on that thread soon.

^ the VTC mini is miles ahead of my first VW mod the original Evic in form and function at half the price.

Maybe you should post them here too. I don't think the naysayers with good units believe you guys.

Wake & Vape is a great place for equipment. Great customer service, all of my orders so far were in my mailbox in 2 days. Evic vtc kits are $46. They have been nothing but nice and supportive to me. They won me as a customer with my first interaction with them. I actually felt bad sending the evic back to them, it was not their fault at all, but they took care of me.

    No you can't
I'm very careful about my vape purchases, I don't have loads of cash to be throwing around and I went for the VTC mini, great build quality, form factor, design, feel, screen, all of it, there's so much they've done right. IMHO it's the best mod out there right now at an incredibly affordable price.

I just wish it would behave itself! :)

I'm getting an Aromamizer RDTA in a couple of hours so we'll see if a different tank with a bit more space can coax it into playing ball.

Things were much more simple just a few years ago when the Vamo was the thing everyone wanted but things changed and now we have devices that go over 200 watts and TC that give all sorts of information to us - they is a price we pay for this new technology. When you add more things then more things can break down this should be no surprise to anyone. Matter how much you're spending you're not spending as much as you did when puffing on those poison sticks.

I myself sent back a Sigelei 30 when 30 watts were the thing and a DNA 30 clone plus I lost a Cloupor T5 and a few Vamo's last month I got a SMY mini 60 that went bad though this one I'm getting repaired now and should have it back next week and have a IPV mini 30 on the verge of going bad. Still a lot cheaper then years back and my health is much better.

Stuff happens - we have to live with it and always have an extra device available.

Keep sharing information good and bad and keep on truckin.

In addition to SS mode, the screen layout has changed.

Off to find my data cable.

They've snuck another stealth version in... 1.30
    Anyone try it?
1.30 is just for those who want the SS TC, but not the new screen layout

Nice of them to give you a choice

Includes SS temp mode and a new display...could it also be hiding a fix for TC??

    I'm downloading now!
No...it could not :-( Anemic hits. It does seem that the resistance on-screen doesn't change as much as it used to, but the problem is still there. Works for a second, you ramp up the temp and watts...eventually you're sitting at 75W and 600F, the mod is cool, temp reads 90F but it still won't fire the coil. Immediately hits temp protect.

Oh well, maybe SS is better?
