I take it you were using SS in Ti mode with 1.20. I tried it too and that's about where you need the temp. A tad lower even. There's just no wiggle room left using the Ti TCR.

The extra high temp in SS mode though, I had to do that as well and you're right... it's certainly the wrong TCR for whichever wire you (and I) were using. I only have the 0.25 Crown head and don't know which SS that is.

Hmm will download and try it out. I have one Subtank Mini with 28 gauge titanium, one with 28 gauge SS 430.

Yesterday I tried 200-220F in Ti mode using SS and got the famous anemic vape, so I flipped it to power and having been vaping at 30 watts ever since.

Hardware 1.10, Software 1.20 (for now)

I have never had the anemic vape issue using Ti in Ni mode.

The 0.25 crown coil is reported to be SS316 so it is probably not the best for TC on the mini, I wonder what TFR they use for the SS setting.

Correct. 240f (Ti) on 1.20 was a little burny for me until I backed the watts down from 75 to 60. I figure it was just barely overshooting the temp and 60w fixed that problem.
Now with the SS mode I can use 75w without the overshoot. Either way it still seems I have a few options when using SS430. [emoji4]

Thanks for posting a screenshot of the new display layout. Not sure if I like the new layout yet, looks a lot busier than the older version. The older layout looks a little more clean and spaced better. Im glad they are at least giving us a choice. I wonder if future firmware updates will include 2 files from now on, one for the "old" style layout and one for the new one.

230F / 40w seems about right using a single 3mm 28 gauge SS430 spaced coil @ 0.59 in my Subtank Mini. So far so good. Haven't tried titanium yet.

My dual 28g SS430 contact coils at 0.5 ohms don't even make vapor at 230f in my Bellus.

So I may have found the first bug. Right after flashing the firmware I locked in the stainless coil at 0.59 ohms. Used it for a while then switched to the titanium coil. It read 0.47 ohms so I locked it in titanium mode. Switched back to the stainless tank after 20 minutes and it was locked in at 0.47 ohms in SS mode. Of course I got the anemic vape so I unlocked it and tried to relock it and it made no difference.

The advantage to stainless is I can simply switch it back to power mode at 30 watts and have the same vape.

To me it should force you to lock in the resistance each time you change tanks.

In a little while I will try to unlock the SS and fire it with nothing on it before I screw the tank down to see if that makes a difference.

Just updated to 2.0, it kept my nickel mode locked in at .14 so pretty stoked

Great news!

I'm not interested in Ni or Ti to be honest, SS seems like a much better option so this works for me.

I've got a dual coil build in an Aromamizer RDTA (0.45 ohm) in SS mode @ 480f and 45w and it's working very well so far.

Personally I would rather see Locked Resist / Dynamic Resist, move the current down to replace puff count, and replace time with remaining battery voltage . Very nice to add SS mode though

I'm extremely pleased with my Evic mini and the updates, couldn't resist the great price $28 plus shipping $ 5.50. Just ordered another Evic mini in black from efun.top - from they're state side warehouse.
