I have seen some 510 protectors but cant find them now

They are 22mm discs which are about 0.5mm

If I can find them will throw up a link but mentioning them now may bless us with their appearance
They are 510 heat sinks. I use them on all my mods to protect the 510's. I'm constantly switching tanks so the 510 get quite a bit of abuse. Well worth 5 bucks to protect it. These are readily available online. Slow tech has the cheapest price if you don't mind waiting.

I got one of those in the US I forget where.. Maybe Vapor Beast? About $5 and yes it works no more wobble.

yes right here 4.95 mine just had fins with no circular cutouts when I got it.
I just got it for any mod that started to have wonky 510 threads.
But it fixes the wobble.

Accessories | 18650 Fin Base | VaporBeast

Great find. I was looking all over for those. I know I saw them a while back but I couldn't remember where. Either way I ordered a set. They were $4.49 with shipping. Worth it. Thanks for the link.
I googled it. :thumb:
Amazing thing that newfangled intertubes search thingie is!

Are you using them with TC? I would just be concerned that they increase resistance and might possibly add to instability with maintaining an accurate stable resistance. It would just add another variable to the mix. But I think it would help with atty stability on the VTC mini since I have also had the temptation to screw in attys tight and still have a wobbly atty that doesn't quite make contact with the mod unlike what I get with the STM which is a very solid atty connection.

Nope, not the heat sinks, just a disc roughly 0.5mm thick

The VTC mini wobble does not effect the electrical connection to the atty. The pos and neg wires are affixed to the 510 connector, not the case of the VTC mini.

I was referring to the addition of the heat sink sitting between the mod and atty.
