Are there any other changes with the new firmware?

well....it works for us ti users too, once set to ti it sticks. TI forever!! ;-)
I was wrong about that and tried to clarify it here. It still has all of the same settings as before. It still has three user adjustable tcr settings? No more than that?
Ah, the SS and Ti settings are still here. You scroll through them just like you go through the M TCR settings. If you go to the Ni setting and click the left button then the right button it scrolls from Ni to Ti to SS. Very cool firmware update.![]()
haha Actually, I happen to have quite a bit of it in my spine. 4 Ti rods and 12 Ti screws are holding the sucker together. Came early, too (mid 30s). Gotta agree, it's definitely better there than in my atomizers.Boo.

It still shows the voltage in power mode. When you hit fire the volts display switches to a seconds counter, but it goes right back to volts about 1 second after you release the fire button. So we lose the voltage readout in Power mode?
I like having that.
But I like the new grouping. Oh my... decisions, decisions.![]()

Not a problem. I should edit the post so I don't leave misleading info in the thread. It's my bad. I'll edit it for the others.Yes, I saw that, but too late. I really should learn to read to the end of a thread before responding to posts![]()

Oh, now I see what you mean. That was in TC mode. Also, the logos only stay on the screen for a short time. They go off right when you hit the button and it don't come back for a while.I'm just going off your pic showing PWR where Volts used to be, having been displaced by the Bat-Signal.
Or is that in TC mode?
Sure does. I noticed it after taking the picture. I fixed it.. then changed it to the Dalek. I have no idea how to make these logos so I just snag whatever I can find. There's an image thread here specifically for images that work with the new firmware. You will still need to open some of them up in Microsoft Paint and save them as a .bmp and select "monochrome" in the drop down list.Looks cool. Got an extra pixel on your bitmap it appears.

Since this VTC has a Tardis jwrap I switched the Bat-signal to a Dalek and put a Star Wars Rebel symbol on my white VTC with the BB-8 wrap. They're so geeky. Suits me just fine!
as long as it's from a female octogenarian i'm ok.......Boo.
