I've had mine for over a week and still have not tried to build it. Looking at it frustrates me cos it looks like the goblin and I've not mastered the goblin :)

I've gone back to focussing on the kayfun v4, have just ordered 2 more. With the air extension kit the k4 has nearly as much air as the lemo, and the chimney extension takes it up to 6ml which is enough.

In comparison with lemo and goblin, what is evil eye's air like?

Haven't tried the lemo but based on what I've heard it's probably somewhere in between, still gives a good airy lung hit, but it's not huge, good balance IMO.

After going back to the fluff method on mine i am running max vg epiclouds no problem, fluff the hell out of the ends especially right next to your coil and pull them straight up like a troll doll and slide the bottom of the chimney down and trim a 1/16 or so above it, take a tooth pick etc and push them straight down and you should be good to go. Sunce using that method i have been 98% leak free and loving these tanks

Todd one thing I noticed the chimney section is pretty tall, ended up with quite a bit of wick down there. When you poke it down do basically aim to cover the juice channels but keep the air holes clear?

Yes !! It creates a barrier so juice will not flow into the air holes and your fluffed ends absorb the juice ;)

Flooding and leaking occurs then cos the deck floods and overflows the airholes, despite these being raised? So you stuff the deck with wick to stop this happening...
What happens if you half fill the channels with wick?

With my very limited experience, I can understand the goblin flooding cos the airholes are flush with the juice channels, but shouldn't raised airflow go some way to stopping this?

What id coils do you use?

thx

Filling the juice channels on this tank gives me dry hits so i just do the above, my coils are 24g 2.5 mm duals at about .2 ohms, i filled this tank at 3pm and this is what has leaked since then.... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1429332523.111745.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1429332535.911457.jpg

Nice, I'm going with 26g here, also 2.5mm, .5 ohms.Yeah the juice channels aren't huge so that would make sense especially with thicker juice, I'm gonna try this now. Doofy, in theory the raised air holes would make a difference, but if the wick isn't right it really only delays the inevitable, the goblin never floods on me but that's because I know how to wick it.

I recently rebuilt my BBEE with a single tiger coil (twisted 28g, then twisted again with 0.8mm ribbon wire) and forgot about closing off the unused side's air hole or stuffing it with cotton... it worked great for a few hours, but after setting it down for bed and then coming back to it in the morning, it was gurgling and leaking like crazy. Tried to see if I could vape it back to its earlier performance but it was a no-go, so I emptied the tank (thin gauge syringes really come in handy for this), closed the air hole and stuffed the unused side with a decent amount of wick.

So far it's kind of hit-or-miss, still get a little leaking but it's not nearly as bad. This tiger coil's resistance is jumping around a little so I'll re-tighten once I finish off the juice in the tank, and then if it's not too low, will turn it into a dual tiger; don't really want it lower than 0.35Ω or so.

Now that I've had this tank for a month, I have to say it's probably the tastiest tank I own. I thought it was on par with my Orchids at first, but after building with a little more cotton (than the Orchid), which it can do because of its larger profile, it beats the Orchid pretty noticeably. I think it's because of its shorter, fatter chimney. Flavor-wise it also beats my Lemo and Lemo 2. Maybe not a fair comparison against the Lemos because I only use my dual-parallel mech box with the Evil Eye and the Lemos stay on the iStick50.

The deck size, juice capacity and flavor from this RTA is unbeatable to me, i have tried dozens of tanks and hands down this is my favorite rebuildable.....the only other tank i use on a daily basis is a high voltage, its close on flavor and good for pre made coils but the evil eye is a great tank, if it was marketed better it would be a knock out for ehpro [emoji6]

just a word of caution for those who get the colored ones.Do not run them through an ultrasonic cleaner,I found out the hard way haha.I put my black one in my ultrasonic and found out the colored glass is not true colored glass,it's tinted and part of it came off,it also made a small bit of the paint come off the base,so if you have a colored one i would suggest cleaning it by hand.
