Hi :)

I was looking at this kit for one of my next purchases

EVO Intelligent VV-LCD Transformer Kit - Dual PV

It comes with ICR batts 16650 and 16340.

It also come with two switches (heads) :

One is a switch with a display that seems similar in usage to my varimax and is regulated (from what I can tell).

The other is a non regulated switch.
My question is, can I use an unprotected IMR with the switch that has the display and...
do i assume that i need to use the protected 16340 with the non - regulated switch?

If anyone has this setup, I would like to know what you are using for batts :)

I like this setup..it looks really sleek and the best part is that there are essentially two pvs for the price of one but the batt issue is just a tad bit confusing, lol

I prefer IMRs but if I have to use ICRs I will

Seriously...no one has this?
I've been looking at videos and all they say is "well they use 16340 batteries"
Well, I know that.
Are they protected or not..that's all I want to know.
I would like to know what kind of batteries to buy for this thing because i really don't want to blow my face off.
i saw someone use a 14500..no indication as to whether they were protected or not.
Pet peeve of mine..a lot of reviewers will tell you what size battery but won't say if it is protected or not (unless it is like, a Silver Bullet or something similar).
This doesn't help newbies.
They shouldn't assume that everybody automatically knows this info.
I want to know what batts should be used in this
