EVOD Question

I've googled, checked various Vaper's terminology pages, and can't seem to find what 'evod' refers to exactly. I realize it's a battery, but is 'EVOD' an acronym? If so, what does E.V.O.D stand for? I see it ref'd to as 'eVOD', 'EVOD', or all lower case 'evod' on different websites, and in this forum. If it not an acronym, is it a brand-specific name for a device? Is it just a name for a device that sounds cool with no meaning whatsoever? Just curious

An EVOD is an eVod is an Evod is an evod.
It is the name of a battery and a clearo too, clear as mud.
Kanger makes them.

I had always assumed it was a reference to an ejuice delivery system similar in build to KangerTech's bottom coil clearomizer set up

Surprised this was not answered. Did a little research, it means nothing, it is not short for anything, it is a name, that's all, just like Protank.
