It is vaping just fine, although the cotton taste is a bit strong. I don't know about this cotton, it takes awhile to break in. So I'll know later if I don't rewick it with rayon first. But so far the FreeMax Mesh Pro triple mesh coil is winning for flavor.

Bill, if the cotton is too tight in the well, it severely reduce the flavour on the Plus.
Pull out the deck, with tweezers gently loosen the cotton by pulling it up away from the wicking holes. Leave it a bit loose & try it again, if the wicks were too tight it will be obvious first hit

One of the guys in the Shinyitis thread listed the price he would have to pay for an authentic BB.
Balanced and blueprinted with a few of the nicer accessories was just over $1K CAD after taxes etc, and I thought an HoH Kabuki (Glorified Nautilus) on a Provari was crazy back in the day.

The BB is basically a Nautilus/Subtank kind of vape is it not?

Say, I believe there was something else different too, unless the other DNA20 boards did this too. But the Innokin DNA20 I heard also has a buck/boost. And I guess it was a first chip that had used a buck by Evolv or by anybody else. Is this correct?

It could be, I have the exocet in it & it's more like a K-F V5, that's what I would say is the closest comparison. You can run the Atlantis coils in to. For a stealth vape device it's pretty good. I start every day with mine, BB & coffee a nice breakfast

You can go crazy on it thou I spent more on my Authentic BB than any other single device I own. The BB, stab wood panels, a nice DT, a few bridges & there you go $$

I never vaped on one, but that is what I always imagined it vaped like. Although I worry about the airflow with them too. I don't know how good that would be.

The bought a Railbox thinking it would be very BB like, except you can use your own tanks and skip the BB hassle. It was okay, but the airflow was very restrictive through the box. So it was far better having a tank on a regular mod anyway.

Yes a buck/boost in the Innokin but just a boost in the DNA20.

It's one of the few mods I got an Authentic after the Clone. I was impressed enough to want an Authentic & I was finally able to get one, after the demand went down a bit

I became first a Provari elitist and later a member of the REO cult instead, I am still a squonker. I am not a fan of clones and so I missed the whole thing. I still kind of would like the BB but can no longer justify the total cost to vape a kayfun or Aspire.

Yeah using cotton only last about 4 hours in my Aromamizer Plus before it had to go. I also wasn't happy with the iron taste from those Kanthal Claptons (first time I had used them). So I went with a nickel Clapton with rayon instead. I was planning on dual, but after I did the first 11 spaced wrap, there was no way I could get 2 of them in there. So I just used one Clapton.

Flavor was very weak and I had to close the AFC down to a 4mm hole on each side to enhance the flavor. I dunno, maybe 1 coil just isn't going to do it since the chamber is just too large. I never tried this flavor in a Crown, but I think that would be better than this. The FreeMax Mesh Pro also has this flavor in its tank and it is killing everything I have so far.

I just missed a UPS package about 30 minutes ago, said no apartment number. It's on my inside hard door which is open (it's the letter "D") Well "C" and "E" are closed and clearly marked.....DUH. We have a UPS truck in here every day. I called 'em, still might get it today. I say "bull" to their excuse. Not vape related, it's an IP converter for the entry phone system at work.
