My complaint with the V1 mizer is there is no room for the wick tails, especially with a big coil. I should probably give one of the larger ones a try.

Are you using the velocity deck, or the first rendition of the postless deck ?
The new orientation postless deck (same as Plus's postless deck) or the single coil deck do not have that problem :)
You can order a single coil deck from FT for less than $10, good investment :)

The Plus fits nicely on the ERM+
You can see it does go over the bevel but no real over hang :)
I run a fused Ti Clapton in mine, the ERM+ has the power & battery life to run it effectively :)

The single coil deck has been a nice addition to the Supreme & now the Plus :)
Every buddy has their own personal preference, so will you's like it as much as I do?
You can judge for your self, What I can say for sure is it's a very well built atty, with many good qualities :)
I'v tested them extensively! They perform day in & day out, over a period of a few years now, mine have performed flawless :)
What build are you using for a single coil on the postless deck?

I use a juul when I am out and about. It works for me. I just have to remember not to chain vape.

I have an Orion coming, going to check that out with 50/50 -12 mg. Hope that does the trick. I like to chain vape when I'm walking down the boardwalk.

off-topic, sort of ;)

i need to get serious again; i'm sliding more and more :( and thinking back i did best when there was no fiddling, adjusting etc. so, since i know this is an adventurous bunch in here, has anybody tried juul to compare?
I did, back in 2015, when they were new on the market. My conclusion at the time was: Not gonna replace my regular vapes (MTl squonkers), but would make an excellent stealth kit and/or backup. I actually did carry it as a backup for quite some time.

Juul is certainly able to deliver a satisfactory amount of nic. However the vapor production is lame, and I say that as someone with a vaping style pretty close to tootle-puffing. The other turn-off with Juul was the cost of consumables. $4 for a pod that contains less than one ml of juice. I don't mind spending money on durable goods (mods and atties that will last a lifetime), but have gotten spoiled with the cost of my DIY juice being around $5 a month.

What build are you using for a single coil on the postless deck?

On the Plus's postless deck I'm using this

HYoK566.jpg

It's 2 by 24 wrapped in 30 Ti wire 3mm I.D. ohms out @.12, I find with the Plus it's important to get the Air to hit the bottom of the coil, so I lift it fairly high above the deck.
I'm in the process of transitioning to the single coil in all my Supreme's (V1 & Plus's)
The V1's have been running the single coil deck for some time now :) The Plus's are still transitioning.
Here is a pic of the single coil deck in the plus, same build just shorter legs, ohms out @ .1. You can see even on the single coil deck the coil is lifted up as to get the air flow to hit the bottom of the coil.

You mite notice the slight discolouration, I'v been preheating the coils to reduce the break in time. Not glowing Red hot but heating them up substantially :)

The advantage of the Orion over a Juul is that you can refill the pods. Consequently you also control the flavor, strength, PG/VG ratio etc.

As Rossum pointed out, the cost of ownership of a Juul is in the pods. With the Orion you still have to buy Pods, but I have had pods last a month, vs a day or three with a Juul.

Either can satisfy the nico-demon.

I'l start by saying I have never used a Pod system. The Juul pods have a 35 or 50 option , that's a lot of nic! IDK what your vaping now Tibs? But I'm fairly certain it's not 35 to 50 mg! The Juul has gone main stream here were I live, they are for sale at every gas station & corner store.
I stumbled onto these as I surfed around, a empty refillable Juul comparable pod, a bit less $ & your own choice of juice's & nic strength :)

That's true (it's actually 5% or 3% by weight), but put it in perspective; a Juul runs on some low single-digit wattage. I never checked its coil resistance or voltage output, but based on how it vapes, I'd say it's 5 watts or less.

I really am having a tough time getting use to the DNA75C.
One example: set power to 40 watts, preheat 75 watts. With maximum punch it fires continuously at 75 watts (temp in punch area of EScribe set to 300F) If I set punch to 5 it operates as expected. What am I missing?
The higher the value of punch, the longer the punch wattage will run for.

Man when these first came out they disappeared very quickly. I am surprised I found this hidden gem. Now that you know about them too, they might go quickly. They have all 3 colors too, black, blue, and silver. Why build your own when you can get them for $49.99? These lipos are 2 years old already so they maybe on the way out soon.
