I knew it would be trouble buying 20700/21700 mods. I wasn't going to buy any of them. But I did last year, you know you get the first one dirt cheap and that is how they hook ya. Well I have all of these 20700/21700 cells laying around and I really don't like any of my 20700/21700 mods (none of them are dna mods btw). So I decided I should use at least one of them to get some use out of my stockpile of batteries.
Well looking over of collection, it kind of looked like the YiHi SXmini SL Class SX485J sitting up on the shelf in the corner of shame would be the best choice. Maybe I was too hard on it before and maybe I should take it down. Fine, tried a Vapefly Galaxies MTL RDTA with a nickel build and it did ok. Next tried a KP5 with a titanium build and it was ok there too. Say it looks like a FreeMax Mesh Pro would fit on that tiny mod. Tried it and it would only dial up to 40 watts. What? Why?
And what is up with those flash memory locations (in dna speak, I guess profiles)? Programming it from the mod, it remembers nothing except the wattage setting. Program it from the software and writing it back to the mod, then the application locks up. Gee I think I see the future and I believe this thing is going back up in the corner of shame.

For a single cell mod I think a 21700 is great, for multi-cell mods not really needed as much. Just my take on it.
Put the WeeLeaf Mesh 0.15Ω (30-75W) in today to check it out and it's also a great coil, flavor is perfect at 45W and plenty o'vapor. The mesh coil is a juice guzzler and won't have the longevity of the ceramic so it all depends on what you like.
I must have gotten the A-Tank (SXK) that was made by a disgruntled 8 yr old... Had to pull the 510 pin from the mesh coil head and put thick silicone drip tip o-ring on the post to extend it for connection. Easy fix, just have to remember to not throw out the coil without retrieving the spacer. A little bump of solder on the end would work too, but no iron here at the shop.
Don't like the Exocet (SXK), three pieces that just touch together leaves a lot to be desired for resistance measurement. It might be another RBA that needs a little bump of solder to tighten it up some. The Insider is my favorite so far.

DJLsb shows in the chart for the SL that it will give 100W from 0.17Ω all the way up to 1Ω so that's strange.

How did you position the coil? I find a tiny little coil positioned real low between the posts, just above the air flow hole works good for me

Brought the old Rose V2 in today for a little rewick and salt treatment, xXx mode on the FSK chip for some Kanthal TC love.

I put the coil in line with the juice holes, used a 3mm 26ga at first which was too big, then tried a 2.5mm 24ga still too big.How did you position the coil? I find a tiny little coil positioned real low between the posts, just about the air flow hole works good for me

It's just like a really big PT2 coil head, I take it you leave a little fluff poking out the holes. I'll toss a 2.5mm 26ga in it when I try it again. I thought this is stupid, there is no way to dry burn the coil then realized there are 510 threads (2) under the AFC ring, winner! And the jumpy resistance s probably from not being tight enough, the Enushi flush 510 adapter was screwed down all the way down so it will need a little thin riser between the 510 pin and BB. (Clone RBA first world problems...
)

Hey Bill, I run dual 21700's in the RX2 Rolo
For a dual 21700 mod it's really small! Heavy AF but small. With Arctic Fox firmware it has all the functionality of E-Scribe

Huh? You mean Eciggity has the other two? They only have the 2 listed in Ultem (black and silver frame). I believe they were listed since Friday.
When I checked earlier they had the two black carbon fiber listed with the one crossed out, no Ultem at that time.
Edit: That was early Sunday morning that I first checked. I came pretty close to ordering one but nah.
