OK guys, a little help?

I've never done a 250C build before, so this is my first.

I've got it all wired up for 3S as per the manual.

On first power up I got a red led that turns green and then goes out.
Screen is white! Swapped it out for a spare, white again?

Connected to escribe, windows recognised a new device and installed drivers, but escribe won't connect? Same setup recognise other DNAs.

Disconnected battery, no change?

Advise?

The wiring should be exactly like a non-C.

People actually uses the LED? It sits right under my thumb when I fire and I can't even see or notice it. Okay let me watch. Okay it looks purple to me when you fire it (some might say red). Turns to blue when temperature is reached. Using just power mode, it is just purple while firing. And turns green when you release the fire button.

Wow! Sounds like a bad board to me. Where did you get it?

Just in case, is your EScribe new enough to recognize C-versions?

3s Lipo or 3 round cells? Did you connect the board when it was brand new,(Test) before you started?

The C boards require a newer version of EScribe than the earlier boards, C boards require battery power to light the screen but the board works with just USB power.
White screen doesn't sound good....unless you have two bad screens.
All I got.

Just looked at my tracking for Modmaker 510's, they cleared LA customs already.
Messaged VapeTime UK that if they didn't expect the SS/black drone real soon to just send me one that they do have in stock.
Edit: VapeTime has responded already, they have tracking that shows they will arrive today or tomorrow. (It's early afternoon in London now)

Sounds unlikely, out of all the white screens I'v had (5) none of them started off white, they all went white after a month or more of use.
When I made my 3S lipo 250c, I put the JST plug in backwards (to close to the + side of the board) I'l admit I didn't have the issues Laurie is, but it didn't work!

If it were me, I would make sure E-Scribe was the latest version & remove any soldering I did on the board. Then if it's DOA? It's DOA :(

By all means check the board first, just remember that no screen without battery power.
