In the interest of KISS, I'd say the second one, only three brightness modes. I have yet to use one of these CREE lights on anything but 100% mode. To me, the strobe and SOS blink are just gimmicks. My favorite, without question, is the Vizeri but they are no longer made. It can throw a beam about a 1/4 mile, or more. I'm using an Anker "Boulder" now and while it's OK, it's no Vizeri.
Simple, choose back or gray flashlight. You can't select the color temperature which is 6500-7000K.
Comes in Oak Brown only. But you can select Color Temperature.

The lower the K (Kelvin) is what they call a warm light. Much closer to incandescent bulbs and have a whitish-yellowish glow. The higher K is what they call a cool light and has a bluish glow to them. Remember some street lights were bluish in color? Yes like that. Which one? It is a preference thing really. Some like a cool light while others prefer warm.

Ya gotta read, Tibs! It'll take an 18650 or two AAA batteries. The Vizeris I have will take an 18650 or three AAAs. The Boulder is an 18650 only and has a built-in charger.

Vapresso tanks arrived, ugly color, works good with an EC-S coil.
SXK Crossbow arrived, that's going to have to have a little Dremel work on the airway, not too sure if it can be enough.

I put a lot of time into it, way too tight even after I did what little I could. Vape Shell back in service. I have the plugs. Not for me.
Now that I have the Vapresso tanks I'm able to see how those 0.3 ohm Triton SS316L coils perform when enough power is applied. WOW
As far as blister pack coils go, in my BB I like the .4 aspire Clapton Wire coils & the EUC ceramic .5
