I put off getting cataract surgery till next time. A discussion with the surgeon yielded that it was a reasonable choice. So I received my new glasses almost a week ago. Right of the bat I noticed that at an arms length (my monitor screen) that I can't see as well with the bifocal lens on the new ones compared to the old ones. So I go to bed and when I get up for work I can see my screen real good.
Oh my eyes must have adjusted to them I say.
Found out that I've been wearing the old glasses for almost a week.
BTW, they look very similar.

Hey Steamer861 here's a thought. Could you give your internet provider a call and say the router must be old as it's not switchable or dual and is now causing you to have to replace other hardware, and is your model what they are still providing to others? Worked for me once.

Steamer, being the cheap SOB that I am, when I changed from FiOS to Comtrash I bought my own, discrete, modem and router. Yeah, there's an up-front cost but I was ahead a hundred bucks or so by the end of the original contract. They charge, I thin, $12USD per month for their "whizz bang" crap that's old when they supply it. That's a DOCSIS modem/router, I bought just a DOCSIS modem, and I hung an Asus dual band router off of it. It supports our craptops and the Mrs Iphony, 5GHz, with 433mb speeds, my phone and our old tablets, 2.4GHz, at 100mb speeds, and my wired stuff at 1000mb. The best of all worlds.

I know you're just trying to replace a printer, but sometimes you have to drain the swamp to be able to do the original task.

calling my isp. Is a real PIA. You can wait on hold for hours . From their web site. My. Modem is third in the line, weather. The. 2 in front of it are dual band. iDK

Up till now. I never gave it much thought. Cause there was no. Issue, once the complainers. Started. I look into it

From what I’ve read. I would still have to use. My isp’s. Provided one in pass thru. Mode?

I do have an issue with the old printer. It don’t. Work well & wastes. Paper &. Ink. Frequently.
