Bill, my comments were talking about mainstream computers not their phones. Anyway, Troll cleared that up hopefully. I still feel at home as root. For iOS it is locked down and I have never tried to hack it. For their pre-release phones and iOS we would/could sideload a special Engineering build that allowed all sorts of more capabilities. Those weren't supposed to leave the building. How? I don't even have access the the files on the drive. For me to go back to an earlier iOS, I have to do a root equivalent to the machine. They don't want the user to do anything Apple doesn't approve of. While Microsoft isn't there yet, they are working on it. Thank goodness I have enough XP machines to last me a lifetime.
HP back in the day was the KING in the mini world (corporate world) to me and could do no wrong. As more time passed they became just another mfgr. Right down to their laptops. I had a Win10 i7 laptop, but unlike you I let it do the updates. Like you, the machine spent more time doing updates than getting real work accomplished. I ran Win7 as a VM on my Mac until recently. I miss the old days of say to use 'classic mode' from XP. 2 last minor comments. Mac's come with no bloatware and there Office suite (pages, numbers) but I prefer and use my slow loading Microsoft version. At one time Microsoft was the major leading software supplier for Mac.And no matter what I add to those HP machines, they will never perform as nicely as these Lenovo gaming laptops
Don't think it was actually stolen from PARC, but you can still see the roots to this day. Sorta like the Porsche 911, a continuing evolution. I remember seeing an ad by them before my hair was greying, and it was along the lines of 'if you have a good product, you don't throw it out and start from scratch every 4 years. You make it better'. Sorta reminds me of Mac'sSince Apple themselves stolen theirs from Xerox in the first place.
I saw a quick piece on the local news, last night, saying that vitamin E acetate was the culprit in 94% of the cases. They didn't mention any culprit for the remaining 6%.
I just scanned that article, but they seem to be focused on double speak and confusing the problem to keep general vaping in the loop. If vaping is such a dangerous, and I'm not saying it is without any danger or risks, how come millions of people vape and actually see health improvements if they were tobacco users. No one mentions that unimportant little fact at all.
"Don't vape any of these pot juices because you can't tell where they came from and while doctors rather you don't vape at all, what ever you do don't smoke cigarettes'"
It was nice to see some honesty being reported,
Just ordering a replace pair of these ice grippers, finally wore out a pair! These things are great, you can run on ice with these! Cheaper then medical bills from a fall. I keep an extra pair in the car.

I also discovered if I leave them on while working in the shop my foot stays warmer because of the space between my foot and the freezing cold cement floor.

Oh I think that court battle made it very clear they did. Once Steve Jobs saw what they were doing at PARC, Steve pulled all his best employees off of other projects and made this his priority one goal, to copy the PARC system. Xerox then got involved years later and said, wait, does this mean we can sue Apple? And the court said no, that their time limit to sue Apple for theft had already expired.Don't think it was actually stolen from PARC, but you can still see the roots to this day.
I prefer to hibernate. Wifey got me something similar years ago and I never even took them out of the package. I'll go hunt them down for a test runa replace pair of these ice grippers, finally wore out a pair! These things are great, you can run on ice with these

Yes I too loved those drip tips and I bought 5 of them too.Back when the styled KF v5's arrived I decided that I liked the drip tips so I ordered about 5 tips. The plastic part screws into the metal part. This plastic piece while threaded can be easily press fitted onto the TGT3 drip tip.
Here's my other TGT3 styled
