Ok...question two...all of my 18650s are crap/old...any suggestions for a great battery? Bride is reluctant as she is accustomed to power, though in a large size. :)

She has been asking for a more pocket friendly mod and I am trying to get her to use this one.

Thinking of these:

MODS BATTERIES & CHARGERS - Sony VTC5 18650 Battery - Vape Super Saver

or

4 LG 18650 HE2 2500mAh Li-Ion 35A High Drain Rechargeable Battery LGDBHE218650
I have both and the VTC5s are clearly a better bat, in practice.
Much less voltage drop in a DNA75 BTW.

I thought the newer VTC5's weren't very good. I'm using Samsung 25r's in my DNA75's and no issues with them. I also have a bunch of LG HE2's that are pretty good too. HG2's are 3000mah if you don't vape max wattage and want more battery life.

I order my batteries from Amazon. They have them in packs of 2, 4, 8, etc. Very good prices too ($6 shipped ea for 25r's, $5 ea for HE2's)

Sitting down, facing forward.
I've bought batteries from IMR Batteries, online. They all appear to be authentic, prices are good(not spectacular), and the shipping is fast. There's also a deal on GearBest for "authentic" VTC5s, about $28 for six or eight of them.

I too have ordered from IMRBatteries and I really liked them. I also have ordered batteries from Gearbest before and never again. They require someone present to sign for the package (you don't know this up front). And I didn't opt to pay extra for tracking. :(

Me to, but Mike said John from Evolv said 2.8 :)
He did, but John said the default of 2.8 is more suitable for 18650s when that was the default, it's now 2.75 V. It's not going to make a huge difference, just compensating for higher connection resistance and more of the power at the low V end of cylindrical batteries. I use 2.75 V.

I wouldn't trust any batteries from China. Most (All?) cells are from Japan and China is notorious for relabeling old laptop cells and selling them as new, especially the xxxxFIRE brands trying to play off the SureFire name.

DNA 60 released
evolvapor.forumchitchat.com/post/dna-60-8189652?pid=1292935742

From Brandon
Evolv is proud to announce our new DNA 60 board. It is a DNA 40 sized board with the added functionality of EScribe. The boards are available now in extremely limited quantities to enable our customers to have products on the market before the FDA August 8th deadline. Because of component lead times, volume availability is not expected until October of 2016. As a result customers will be limited to 1 board per device that they plan to release plus one board as a spare.

Attached is a solid model of the board. It is largely the same dimensions as the DNA 40 with the following exceptions.

-The inductor on the back of the board is 4mm high like the DNA 20 & 30 not 3.5mm like the DNA 40.

-The fire button is the green fire button from the DNA 75 & 200 not the 3.1mm tall button from the DNA 40.

-The adjust buttons are new, taller and clickier than the previous buttons but still waterproof.

- The board has 5 through holes on the bottom for data and charger. Our 1 amp charger has been updated to include USB data pins.

Individual quantity pricing is as follows:

$59.99 with charger
$49.99 without charger
There should also be a DNA 250

Kind of interesting that Gearbest can ship them, Fasttech no longer does. Maybe they come by ship.
Last time I made mistake of ordering batteries there took almost two months to receive so they may ship by canoe.
