I would think that they are Kanthal rather than Nichrome, defiantly not TC wire.
I'm running them at 45 watts with a boost of 4, that give me 60 watts for part of a second ( maybe .3 seconds)

Try a copy of SRWare Iron, it's Chrome with all the nosey Google bits removed. They have an installer and portable version.

Are you uBlock or some other ad blocker? Sometimes forums try to get around them and it breaks things. Try turning any blocker off and delete cache, then try again.

So back at home I compared the Triton .4 ohm coil to the Atlantis 1 ohm coil. They both appear to be the same gauge and the same diameter. The Triton has 8 wraps but only heats 4 of them and the Atlantis has 7 wraps and heats all of them. So I'm thinking that the Atlantis coil could handle near double the wattage if only the wicking could keep up....which it most likely won't.

Gee suddenly after 6 years of faithful service, my Logitech M305 middle button just quit working. I gotta have a middle button and I use it all of the time. No big deal, if you know me, as I always have a spare. My spare M305 works fine. I paid $4.99 for them 6 years ago and I just checked the prices on eBay and Amazon. They are like 100 bucks now.

Still booting your Windows 10 machine everyday awsum140? I still put them in standby whenever possible. But I did reboot this Windows 10 machine (the slowest Windows 10 one I own) to see if the middle click problem was just a glitch. And the hard drive was busy for the first 20 minutes before it settled down. I never see this when using standby.

Life is looking up a bit. Had my first Job Interview today. Felt a bit rusty, it has been 20 years since I have done this. I think I did OK though. Also finally got my first unemployment check last Thursday. It only took a month and a half but it sure was welcome when it showed up.
