Hi, just bought a Hyperion 100c but i realised that, from dna 250c and beyond, I do not enjoy vaping in dna devices anymore..
No need to mention specific builds or juices, in a few words, any build in any atomizer when attached to an X device provides better taste result when the same is attached to a dna device.. the best example of better taste result is when using my double barrel v3 mod.. better than my odin 250c and better than my most recent purchase, Hyperion 100c..
Everyone in here or in person, always mentions about customisation of dna devices etc but.. I don't know.. apart from basics, can anyone really customise a dna device? Apart from preheat, punch and all the basics..
Is there anyone to tell me how i will customise my Hyperion to simulate and work like my double barrel v3? Or to make it work like a yihi when need to? Are there any readymade profiles for the above? If not, what settings should i experiment with, trying to change the taste i get.. the flavour..

I can see some validity in that post. For many years now I'v run only DNA's, recently I have switched to MTL & aquired a few non DNA mods. I find, I can take an atty from a DNA mod to a mec or a mosfet mod & see a difference! Not all mods will react the same, certain build wicking & juice combos, mite work better or worse with different mods! All most everyone's results will differ! I can agree different mod's will make the same build, wicking, juice combs taste/work differently.
A cross manufactures there may be a significant difference! A certain setting on one manufactures mod will be different on another's for example 20 watts on a DNA will be different than 20 watts on another manufactures mod. one thing for sure! there is very little constancy with Vaping! You could have been building the same atty the same way for years & consistency from build to build can be next to imposable! this is the same for pre built coils also.
If some one is going from another manufacture to a DNA & not getting the exact same results? I can see that happing! better or worse will depend on a lot of factors, constancy from one mod, build, manufacture to another is Never going to happen!
I would wager that making the same burger or bottle of beer consistently is a very tough thing for any manufacture!

I'm sitting here thinking about digging out my 60 watt SXK Vapor Flask (styled). That does sound right, SXK I mean, it's been so long. There was a problem with them reading resistance on the low side if I remember correctly. It's in new condition as yet.
I really don't see any difference if I take my Kayfun V4 off of a DNA mod and put it on my Minikin V2 or Hohm Wrecker, watts are watts as long as it measures a similar resistance. Putting it on the Drag would be different as VooPoo used some shenanigans to ramp up initial output to make that mod appear to hit harder.

I ordered two Hyperion back in June from Fasttech. They still don't have them and they moved the date like 8 times already. I always get burnt ordering from Fasttech. I also tried ordering one from the states, but the age verification that I never had problems with before, failed. Then they wanted my driver's license and I sent that. Then they wanted a picture of me holding up my driver's license up to my face. I didn't do it since I didn't want to keep giving them things all night long. And this was Element who I have ordered many times before.
I don't vape much in TC anymore, as the better coils are available in either N80 or Kanthal. But when I do, things are not that great on the DNA. Even though the graphs look great.
Lowering the wattage and/or the temperature on a DNA to get the vape cooler just reduces vapor and flavor too much.
