On the way to work last night I got to see a couple of lightning strikes not too far in front of me, I almost was afraid to proceed down the highway. The best description of it would be is if some commercial aerial fire work were shot down at the ground from a helicopter. When it hit the ground all these balls of white light exploded up into the air. When I first came to San Diego I thought they didn't have thunder and lightning here but It started showing up a few years later.
