it was fine for a few minutes this morning and then just a spinning wheel

all my bookmarks and saved sites are on ff - i'm pulling my hair out!A month or so ago, ECF changed how it handles cookies. This caused problems especially with Firefox. I got a feeling they are rolling it out in small areas of the world at a time. Maybe they just changed where you are at. If you have popups blocked, unblock them and you might see a window to accept cookies or not. Another thing is to delete cookies from ECF through Firefox and reboot Firefox. Did you see something like this with Edge? Have you had seen this a month or so ago, then it is probably something else.
bill, ff doesn't load a single website. the settings page still works though so i have access to my saved log-ins. there i found that my ff log-in was compromised and to change the password which i did going through edge. now i'm signed out and can't sign back in. spinning wheel and nothing happens
well, i'm back in business went to the mozilla help forum and was told to restart ff and it worked. what is strange though i had done a complete restart on the laptop when i first ran into this problem
