I've been using dark mode and it seems ok

Both are known problems. Management is working on those and several others related to the server migration.
Posting images: There are several free image hosting sites that you can use to post pics on ECF.
The reason images are not posting has to do with RTF not working. RTF = Rich Text Format. RTF is what allows us to post images on ECF via XenForo (forum sw).
I noted some of the free image hosting sites here: Shinyitis Support Group
Many seem to prefer imgur . com. Others prefer some of the other sites. A few people are using their own servers for posting images.
Tapatalk: Is also a known problem that has been reported.
