ok, guys, i'm gonna need help. i ended up with 'your computer has been locked - call windows security' i switched over to my admin account which i don't like to use online. ran malwarebytes - no threats detected. tried to go online with my usual account and still get that message. any ideas?
Do you have backups tiburonfirst? If not, a person who knows what they are doing can fix it in 12 hours or less. Otherwise you might be stuck with doing an reinstall. It can be done without losing your data. If that doesn't work, then you lose everything to fix it without a spare drive.
ran malware bytes a second time after closing firefox for that user. restarted firefox but closed the tab where i got the warning right away. atm i'm running malwarebytes in real time with the free 14day premium trial version.
It's about time I clean the cat hair from my computer's filter screens again.
