Now, back here in the quiet...where does my sorry broke self get a TC with Evolve chip ?
Let me dig around when I get home. I may have 1 or 27 lying around.

WOW!

That thread sure turned batpoop crazy real damn fast!

Isn't that the truth! Some people will dispute valid info & defend their vaping style to the bitter end.
I guess you really can't teach an old dog new tricks :(

Yes you can, you just have to listen them howl at the moon for a while first.

Remember when the DNA40 first hit? It took a while before folks even considered it worth trying. Now there are 1.5 million of them out there.

Is that what the rest of this forum is like? Reminded me of my first trip to NYC, went straight to the hotel which was really nice, that night I went out for a walk around the area, it was like walking out into the living dead. Made it three blocks, I couldn't get back to the hotel fast enough, not a place for this country boy, nothing there will draw me back again. Don't understand why anyone would want to live there like that.

It's a thing with any kind of change.
People don't like change.
Me for example, I have been pretty 'set' in my ways for 5 years or so.
I know my builds, I know my wick and how it wicks, what I do just works and I am set for life.
Now to think that the miles of the 32ga Kanthal wire that I use might be tricking me...

Shame, shame, shame....... :)

Of all the people on this forum I know beyond doubt that you were exposed to TC concepts since the day the DNA40 was released. Hell, you approved all the co-ops!

Sitting down, facing forward.
For the sake of not getting flamed in the other thread, I say this here...

I started with cartos then moved to CE3s and CE4s. That lead to RTAs for simplicity of building them which in turn, lead me to TC. I'm glad I found TC, not to mention vaping in the first place. Even if TC isn't truly accurate it is very consistent and, I suspect, accurate enough for my "government work". If I can avoid yet another hazard from inhaling aldehydes, diketones or anything else, I'm all for it. The idea that the difference between high output of potentially dangerous byproducts is a "slim" difference isn't really much reassurance to me. Mr. Murphy lives with me.

yea, but-but-but...
I look at it like my mechs are my security. Nothing to break.
The tech stuff scares me as I can't fix it if it goes South and I don't have anyone to go running to for help.

No, I was there for three days, that was just the first night. I was just a fish out of water there, meet a guy in his twenty's that had never seen a cow in person, he had never left the city. I asked him why he didn't take a two hour drive into the state, said he didn't have a car, couldn't afford to keep one in the city. To each his own, just not my cup of tea, no reason for me to ever go back.

I picked up a nice used Lavabox dna75 for $40 today. It looks like someone installed "an" atty on it. There out there Classy.
