My Coffee Bean Grinder died :( This is the third one! Whats a good one & were can I get one?
This is a decent grinder for drip or french roast, its what I have at work.
Baratza Encore Grinder Coffee Grinder | Seattle Coffee Gear

For espresso you would be better off with one with a "doser".

If you can spring for the higher pricepoint I would recommend one of these:
Rancilio Rocky Coffee Grinder | Seattle Coffee Gear

The one I have has lasted me 17 years, with an occasional replacement of the burrs.

Has Russel gotten any better with his customer service?
IDK I haven't bought any thing there in ages. He posts videos on FB.
He is the poster child for ADHD! He's all over the place, all most hard to follow what he's saying.

Why buy one, find a store that has a grinder right in the coffee isle next to the eight o'clock coffee. ;)

Those days are over :( Now we want to grind a fresh bean & turn it into a coffee instantly :)

How good?

How do you brew your coffee? Drip, espresso?

We use a drip coffee maker, Ninja Coffee Bar.
We make one cup at a time & want to grind just enough beans for the one cup each time.
This is what mite be killing our bean grinders? I'm ready to spend some money on a bean grinder if It can do that & last for more than a few months.
We had an Oster Burr Grinder & a Cuisinart Supreme both cheapos, didn't last :(

Had mine for 17 years, replace the burrs every5 years or so and it is as good as it was new.

The only "con" on that one is the receptacle for the grounds can develop static, making it a bit messy at times.

You can also get a scale for it that will automatically grind "X" number of grams and then stop it.
Esatto - Baratza
It has 3 programmable presets, so you can grind very repeatable cups worth, or a pots worth, at a single push of a button.

Gonna make you cringe Mike but I've been using the same Braun coffee grinder since 1992. One of those with a chopper blade instead of burrs. Oh yeah, it makes a lot of dust before it chops the beans up too. Works great for hacking up our favorite budget coffee----Eight O'clock Original. Yum yum:lol:

Mode "cringing" on......
I re-purposed all of those for grinding spices.

Heck, I even have a hand ceramic burr grinder in case the power goes out.

I had a nice very expensive burr grinder from a fancy coffee shop. After a while I got tired of waiting. Now I use the dry grind carafe on my VitaMix, 3lbs in about 10 seconds. I do keep a close eye on it while it's working, you can end up with coffee powder in a few seconds. :)

Sitting down, facing forward.
I view my coffee as a semi-religious experience but Mike seems to be a true acolyte.

Kingorchid won't ship to NJ and he's in NJ! Bummer. I did find some tungsten from other vendors but they're in China. That makes me worry about quality. To bad Temco doesn't carry it.
