I am having issues with one of my EMR serial number 030. Has erratic temp control. It also seems to continuously senses my atomizer at a value higher then the actually are. Cold value resistance of atomizer on all my other mods reads .13 ohms. When I put it on #30 it reads .18 to .22 ohms. I have tried cleaning the 510 connections with no help. I'm thinking of tearing down the mod down and looking for corrosion under the 510 and between the board and the mod body. If this doesn't solve the problem I might send the board to Evolv.

I had a similar problem with my residence not being correct, it was a ground issue.
Are your board screws all tight?
I'm assuming you have no ground wire on the board cause of the grounding to the case?

Before you tear it down, make sure your grounding good.
Check the board screws & maybe even try a ground wire from the board to the 510.

Why do I need to go thru https to a forum???
that was done when ecf switched to xenforo but that's ages ago. since you ran into this problem just a month or two ago i think your bookmarks are up-to-date. take a look at the url in the address bar and check ;)
as to where in the settings you could find the 'log out when leaving' - no idea. classy should be able to direct you! :p

I haven't made any changes to how I visit this site. Why do I need to go thru https to a forum??? Can't find the setting that logs me out when I leave.

Simple solution was to just not visit this site as much.

Well...ECF is https so if you are having trouble and are not in with https up in your address bar, THAT is what is causing your problem.
Correcting it or not is your choice, we all had to update our stuff (bookmarks etc.)....but it is not a problem with ECF.

That log out when leaving a site would be something in his own computer settings.

I heard recently Chrome based browser's have been updated to block websites that don't meet security standards, I heard it's causing a lot of problems.

I get that notice on FireFox on some of the Forums I am on.
When I first hit it it freaked me out...like WHAT ???
It says something like This connection is not secure. Logins here could be compromised.
The 2 Forums that have that don't have the https first up in the address bar.
I just gave them each their own 'extra super special' logins.

It's Fridaaaaayyyy !
So...just...WHATEVER !

I thought you'd checked your bookmarks for "https" . . . you do have to use it in order for the auto-login cookie thing to work. I don't know why, either, but you do, it is what I had to do (one by one on about a dozen bookmarks). You always get logged off the site after a period of inactivity, but selecting "keep me logged in" sets a cookie (or something) in your browser to log you back in (with your stored password) when you return to the site.

You should see all the mess I had to change just here in the forum !
Guides, stickies, reference stuff !
Links that you go to in here that log you out !.
I am STILL finding them !
And I am still finding members that are using them when they link another member to something.
You use the link...then dang ! you are logged out

And I log out each time I leave anyway so I always have to re-give password.
(I don't store it)
