Steamer, this just showed up in my email and I thought of you - Efest 20700 3000mAh 30A Flat Top Battery

Can't speak to Efest 20700s in terms of quality, but IMR batteries is a quality vendor.

I got the Ijoys :) Mooch all ready reviewed them. 3000mAH & 30 Amps.
There available here in Canada now, at Canvape :)
I have 6 total coming, I'm banking on some one making a 3D printed DNA250c enclosure with the dual 20700's. Would be nice if Mike could get his buddy to make an aluminum one, But last time I even mentioned it I got the frying Pan :( Oh well 3D printed is fine, I wish I could design my own, but I don't know how :(

You are just looking for a scaled up Battlestar Case config for the 75c, or are you looking for a battery sleeve extension for the ERM?

Yes that would work :) I would also like the 510 position to be able to hold a 30mm
This is a good print :) GALA Mod Full set by Marici on Shapeways The battery sled works perfect the tolerances were all good, it feels solid, the battery door fits nice. I was real pleased with this :)
Some thing along these lines, with the new "c" chip & dual 20700 cells would be perfect :)

If you only knew how much of a headache that job was.
With Machine Shops you can have it fast, good, and cheap, pick any two. I chose good and cheap. If I ever have a weak moment of temporary insanity to do this again my choices would be fast and good. Problem is that nobody would want to pay what that would cost.

I could totally understand :) A machine shop is an expensive place, if you ever rebuilt an engine, you know that. We want an inexpensive item, or one we want to be. Custom made on expensive time & machinery. Hows that going to work out? One of 2 ways, the guy charges a fortune, or he takes it on to keep his dead time occupied.

I wouldn't want to see you go thru that again. I will say my ERM+'s are my best mods!
I have brought them to work with me every day since I assembled them & there still in excellent condition :) I brought my DX to work once & all the paint is rubbed off the corners :(

Yeah, the ERM+ hit all the right notes, at just the right time. It is built like a tank, and durable as hell. It holds a decent size bat, without being quite as big as a brick, and it was fairly easy to assemble. In hindsight I could have probably made it about 5mm shorter, but such is life.

I have a half dozen laying around at any given time, and except for beta mods from Evolv, these are all I use. I have yet to have one fail on me, and if one ever did, I "know" I can fix it.

Plus, I get that little added pride when I look at them, knowing "I" did this, I pulled this project off. For some reason that makes the vape just a little sweeter....

I'm glad you made them the size you did. Any smaller & my Gens wouldn't fit, + the 25mm's fit perfect.
I put the turnigy's in my silos, the Gens are way better!
Which Gen are you using?

Yep, back when I raced it was quick, reliable, inexpensive pick 2.

I chose quick and inexpensive;)
