Got a related one for you. Take a bucket and put a plastic cup in it upside down with something on top of it that you want to develop fingerprints off of. (Nothing you want to keep pristine) Put a couple of thimblefulls of baking soda in the bottom of the bucket on some tin foil. Drop 10 to 20 drops of thin CA into the baking soda and cover the bucket. After 10 to 20 minutes the fumes will condense on even the slightest oils from the fingerprints and create a permanent 3d print of the oils. Be careful not to expose your face to or breath the fumes when you uncover the bucket. Learned that trick 30 years ago or so by accident using baking soda and CA to reinforce and fillet balsa wing spars.

Right, this way they avoid the embarrassment of people knowing/seeing when a package sent from, (e.g.) Florida to Virginia goes by way of Chicago.

I have one coming from Tonga. I figure it is a satellite "store" for their postal system next door to Fastech handling shippment of their battery products in the first leg of Expedited USPS for battery products. In my case it's a couple pair of bluetooth headphones.
I don't think it actually was passing through Tonga, they just fly it.

I had a co-op package start from about 20 minutes away from me go clear up North like PA or somewhere...
Took it 2 weeks to get to me.
I could have gone to pick it up myself and been home in an hour.

It sounds weird but apparently some batteries are either produced or stored in a weird little island in the pacific I've had a bunch come from vanuatu(sp?)
