If you remove the plate covering the board is there a USB connector inside to connect to Escribe?

No there is not :(
It looks like the screen lead would have to be removed to gain access to the part of the board that the usb connects to.
I have an authentic on the way to, will check it also. But doubt it has one :(
This video shows some one connecting. It's doable.
If you could connect just once you could load many different profiles & be set :)

So a little follow up on the BB Clone by SXK :)
I have mine set to Ti preset, it's temperature dominant set at 60 watts.
I have tried the Exocet, Insider & an Aspire Triton coil I rebuilt with a Ti coil.
I can see the attraction to this device :) It works as well as most of my single coil RTA's
With the Exocet & Insider, I was able to get it to work quite well all most immediately.
The problem is if it's not right, you have to empty the tank & start over again, a bit of a pain.
So Far it's leak free :) All thou it took three trys to get to be leak free with the Triton coil (rebuilt by me)
I really like the compact size :) It will become my go to stealth mod to bringing out & about.
I ordered a few extra Boro's to set up with an Exocet & Insider
As of now the Exocet is my favourite rba head for it, the Insider is a close second :)
The Air flow is quite good! It is a restrictive lung hit, I can live with :)
I will say it is worth the 102$ it cost from FT! I like it so much I ordered the Green one :)
I would have no issues paying full price for an authentic, If it wasn't such a hassle to get one :)
The BB sales have been lasting a lot longer lately. Some still in stock hours after they go up. I think the clones are starting to impact the market.

I bet your right! The three "Blems" are still available now. All thou Blems are less desirable.
Back in the day, I got a Provari Blem & couldn't find the defect! I when over the unit with a magnifying glass & found no defects :)

It will be interesting to compare the clone & authentic side by side. I would guess it's going to be hard to tell them apart!

Could be most folks wouldn't want to see
"BLEM /FAC 2ND" engraved in huge letters on their mod, I wouldn't for sure.

You make a good point! It is hidden behind the button panel :)
For me a minor imperfection isn't to big of a deal, you could have paid full price & dropped it the first day, ending up with a worse scratch than the blem :)
Would you rather an AMG S 63 with a salvage title or a brand new C Class?

Neither, I'd rather have a '67 Camaro RS/SS, as long as it didn't have BLEM /FAC 2ND engraved somewhere under the hood.:pervy:

How old are you? I don't understand this love of old Cars! I drove cars from the 60/70's they are Junk! compared to modern cars. The handle like crap the breaks were bad, Even the engines were far worse than todays! In the 60/70's if your car had 60,000 miles the engine was all ready on it's way out!
Today you can easily get several hundred thousand miles No Problem!
You can keep your old carburetor, I'l have my LS thank you!
They don't make them like they used to! I say Thank God!

I'm 55 yrs. old. Those old model muscle cars were crap but the chicks loved them! It's a nostalgic eye candy thing for me and nothing more. I had a '97 Z28 30th anniversary edition that handled great and run great, after 30K in modifications. I raced it for years on road courses and SCCA solo2 courses. It's fun to play with a 600hp LT4 under the hood. I would have preferred to start with the '98 and later platform with the LS1 though, it would have produced closer to 750hp with the the same 396 stroker config I had with my LT4.

It has been my experience that Blems are usually a good deal!
As long as it's just cosmetic Blem, I'm getting it :)
Like I all ready mentioned, My Provari Blem was not even noticeable :)

Nice colour BTW :)

Mike P is the only one here that has the equipment to accurately measure actual TCR values of wire with his temp probe. Hint, hint.:D

Might be an idea for a future project. Right now I have my hands full getting this Formaldehyde meter to work. My first attempt at setting up a vape test chamber was flawed, so I am back to the drawing board at the moment.

Looks pretty but is flawed in concept.

Does the meter measure various aldehydes or just formaldehyde?
