tibs, I have a couple UD Zephyrus (V1) you can have them if you want to try em. Youde UD Zephyrus Sub-Ohm Rebuildable Tank Atomizer They work great, go from wide open lung hits down to mouth to lung. They make some really nice coil heads both in TC or kanthal, I used the ni200 and loved them, great flavor. I just got sick of paying for heads and decided it was time to go back to making my own coils again. The rebuildable deck is tiny, way to small to use but the pre-made heads were consistently great, they have a floating pin between the head and the 510, no problems with good connection as long as your mods have a decent 510.

Yeah, the Zephyrus is a pretty good 22mm dual coil atty. I had no trouble building on the rba deck. Very similar to the Cirrus deck but the Cirrus had velocity style posts and a ceramic post insulator plagued with cracking problems. Never tried the premade coils on the Zephyrus because I just did the builds on the rba for a friend a few times. That's a very generous offer to Tibs Willy:thumb:

thanks, willy  but there's no need to add to the stash i got here :D the reason that review caught my eye was mamu. for her to wholeheartedly recommend an atty with pre-made coils took me by surprise!
here is the atty on her 75c mod

I guess you and I have a bit of role reversal Tibs. Once AT&T abandoned our local tower my connection speed dropped from 15Mb to 2Mb, sometimes nada.:(
yup! i wonder how those decisions are made :?: not all that long ago there was no service from att in this area! vz was my only option among the major carriers and it was pitiful. i struggled along and added us cellular as a backup because vz was so unreliable ..... sigh

Sitting down, facing forward.
One of the other problems with drop in coils, and TC in general and which Mike's testing sort of supports is the TCR needed. Especially with Chineseium wires. The accuracy of the TCR is key to determine temperature and minor variations can produce major differences in operating temperature(resistance). Setting to a specific number, like .00092, does not take into account the variances of resistance as temperature changes which can lead to significant differences in real operating temperature. "Adjusting" an actual curve to make for a "good vape" is also rather tenuous unless actual temperature measurements are made. Testing has shown that undesirable results happen long before they can be tasted.

While "rolling your own" coils is not an absolute guarantee of accuracy I do think it is probably more accurate than the current crop of commercially available stuff.

VZW is still the only cell carrier with any service at all at my cabin in up Floyd County. With a signal booster, it's quite a bit faster than the DSL I also have there, but I prefer to use the unmetered DSL and keep my cell data "in the bank" in case I really need it.

A good booster is not cheap, but it can make a huge difference in fringe reception areas.
