You folks have been around a long time, and are (were) respected in the vaping community.

I am shocked and dismayed at your "Back to School" sale campaign. While I fully realize you (must have been) targeting the college audience, all you did was provide fodder for all of the anti-vaping groups that exist. Your ad will be used as ammunition against vaping, I would be willing to bet money on it.

Please, please, please use more discretion in future campaigns. Already many in the vaping community have taken notice and right now your good name is in the mud!

Sincerely,
Mike Petro

It would be great with a DNA60
HCigar HANA DNA 30 Mod

I'm glad these are still around :) I have a soft spot for these old "Hana" clones.
I have 3 retro fitted with DNA60's, FD 510's & 20700's, still in Rotation :)
I kept my Authentic Hana DNA30, as a keep sake un modified :)

I have a pair I put 75's in, these mods have gone from cloned 30 boards to DNA 30's, to DNA 40's to 75's, I skipped over the 60's LoL

The DNA75 must have been a bit of work to Fit? The DNA60 (small screen) slides rite in like it was meant to be there :) I reused the 3D printed chip holders, I had in them with the DNA40's, fit nicely :)
I had to glue in the USB, the 3D printed battery sled fit with no moding to the case :)

If some one wanted to Buy one from VapeNW & mod their own it's a fairly easy job.
You can reuse the original 510, I didn't, I threaded the case & screwed the FD 510 rite in to the case :)
This is a solid little mod! It's not all that big & has real good battery life with a 20700.
I wanted to put magnets to hold the door, instead of screws but never got around to it.

Well I got very lucky with the black one in the photo, the usb port dictates where the board will set and it just barely fit, it was so snug that the board did not move at all once set in place with the usb port going through the slot. The other one I did was a different clone, that one the board wouldn't drop in the usb slot, the corners at the bottom on the inside hit the bottom corners of the board, I hogged out those corners with a end mill using my drill press, once I did that the board slipped in the same as the black one. I used double sided 3M tape that's used to hold the screens on iphones to hold the screen in place, the real trick was tipping the board on it's side, inserting the screen cable into the board connector and closing that tiny latch then wiggling the board into the usb slot without ruining the cable. I too tapped the 510 holes and put a varitube V1 510 in them, pretty close to the FDV 510.

I haven't used either of those mods for a long time since I built a bunch of those $10 beta reference mod kits from that zbbmods guy on ebay, I just love those mods. I have a few extra kits I stashed away, I was thinking about pulling the 75's from these two mods and moving them over to the ebay kits this winter when I get bored, we'll see. I've reconfigured the lipo's that come with those kits to parallel for the 75 boards and that's worked out well for me.

I just have many more mods then I need or use in rotation but I don't view it as a bad thing, I'll have backups for years to come which feels good. There was a time not all that long ago when I was getting back on my feet (pun) and could only afford one mod. :)

Damn you Slick, now I had to go buy two more of the zbbmods enclosures, think I have bought 22 of them now. I build them as giveaways.

The "Ebay"Hana Guy :) Must have bought a whole Truck load of the remaining Hana Stock!
It says 228 Sold on his Ad! Thats just the 75/200/250 enclosures that are popular with Us.
In total he must of sold ALOT! of pieces :)

Hey Slick, how hard was it to rewire the Lipo pack, so you could use it with the 75?
Whats the battery life like? Compared to an 18650?
I still have several unused enclosures & lipo's from the Ebay Guy :)

I hear ya Mike, they are too good of a deal, I don't really need any more of them either but damn it how can you pass it up? After posting last night I decided I'm going to order a couple more too, heck for the price the lipo is worth the price alone, also thought about using the buttons out of a kit for a Hammond box mod, they would probably cost me $5-6 alone. LoL, there I go justifying it to myself, again.....

There use to be a website I visited daily, it was all listings for stuff on sale in every category you could think of, it's banner motto was "How to go broke saving money" a fitting name. I was disappointed one day when I went there and it had been taken down, I really did get a lot of good deals from that website, but it got addicting LoL. I had the same problem when ebay was fairly new, I was on there last minute bidding on stuff all the time, stuff I didn't really need but snagging stuff dirt cheap. The wife finally pulled the plug on that, I had too many packages coming in the mail and she gave me a lecture, so I started having stuff sent to Mom and Dad's house but then she found out about that too when she stopped there one day, Mom gave her a box and said "Here's another package that came here for Guy".... o_O I think Mom did that on purpose, don't think she appreciated having to be a part of my scheme...

Yeah, FleaBay was great back when they started out. Now it's sort of a low end Amazon, kind of a Dollar Store instead of a real auction site. I used to snipe there all the time, now I rarely even go there for anything other than price comparisons, and FleaBay is usually more expensive.

I can't say I ever bought anything from MBV previously, but sure won't now after that debacle. If nothing else the whole thing shows how (being polite) "single minded" they are. I guess they "mis-spoke" originally, a handy DC and political excuse.

The temperature here has gone dyslexic again -

Even with this going on I see signs of fall. The leaves on one of the Black Locust and one of the Sweet Gum have started getting a yellow tinge and there are leaves down, kind of dry looking leaves, all over the back yard.

The Forest Fire in my back yard is classified as under control now, still not out! but after 113 square kilometres of burnt forest, it's under control!
