Ever have one of those days where you just want a big fat cigar?
Today tracking says my C-roll left San Diego this morning at 4:58 am, then later it said it left at 5:55 am (that' 3 times that it says it left. Anyway it's now out for delivery. That the 1st order, the 3rd one arrived at my local PO with the first one but it says "in transit", the 2nd order hit San Diego a few minutes ago. If it wasn't for the fact that one went to LA customs, another to San Francisco customs and the other one to NYC customs I would have thought they all came on the same cargo ship...LOL.
OK, I know that some of you in here are well versed on cameras.
Objectives:
I am real scared of a lot of the IP cameras on the market as I know that millions of them have backdoors into their firmware and can be used in DDOS attacks etc. Likewise I am also scared of many of the "controllers".
- 6-8 weather proof cameras, 3 weeks retention.
- FPS and resolution are unspecified until I learn more.
- No leaks of data traveling outside of my network from cameras or DVR controller.
- Want to be able to display data through my "Homeseer" home automation application. Cameras need to be able to talk to "Homeseer" only, but not to outside world unless through the "Homeseer" interface.
- Would prefer POE and would like to avoid Wifi.
Where do I start reading?
i wonder if he's also familiar with stand-alone stealth cameras suitable to put into dh's room at assisted living?he's sharp with those setups.
It signifies that you have a blog, clicking it will take you there. Is ecf still having issues? Couldn't get Tapatalk to work either... btw whats the "b" next to my name?
For the weak hits use Escribe's Device Monitor paying close attention to voltage drop, it's where I would start. I suspect a problem with the screen it's self, weak hits probably a different problem.Yeah it's barely visible, some of the leds are brighter than others while they're all pretty dim... but I don't think it's like a dead screen issue bc of the weak hits
