Sitting down, facing forward.
I figured out why I don't like BFing. I only have one mod that's a BFer. As a result it sits with the bottle half full for a long time. Even silicon leaches plastic and spoils the flavor. I'll stick to RTAs, the liquids never go stale in them even if they sit for a month or longer.

I've never noticed any plastic flavor in a BF mod, and I have unflavored liquid in the bottles of most of my mods. I do drip some flavored liquids into some of them from time to time, but the total amount of flavoring I consume is very low, so there's there's little or nothing to mask an off-taste. I also have some mods that sit on my desk here in PA when I'm in FL and vice-versa, so it's not that I'm constantly emptying the bottles either.

Maybe whatever you're tasting is one of those things that not everyone can detect? Like the odor after eating asparagus, or the soap-like taste that makes some people hate cilantro?

I think my taste buds are pretty shot from 50+ years of tobacco use, but one never knows. I may be one of the "lucky" few to be able to taste the leaching that happens with almost every plastic, especially softer ones, and still not be able to taste things the way they used to taste. Maybe it's only my imagination, but I've never noticed anywhere except with BFing. Think I'll go back to using that mod as a dripper instead.

Taifun dripper is great, you can get the coil low with this one.
Pic is DNA75 firing @ 75 watts with 0.12 ohm coil, low point is 3.89 volts

DNA75 with 950 LiPo (3P)

I'm vaping on one of those setups right now. They make a pretty good and sturdy mod don't they? And a bargain to boot! I've got three more 75 boards and kits waiting on my bench. Did you use the battery that came with the kit? That battery is easy to take apart and reconfigure into a parallel pack, I like how the cells aren't glued together, no disrupting the foil wrap on the cells and the tabs are easy to unsolder and resolder.

Just another comparison of old LG HD2 and new HD2 firing @ 60 watts (or trying to) in DNA75
First fire is old one, cleaned sled contacts and fired new one 2nd, cleaned old batt ends and fired old one again 3rd. Low point is 2.71

Someone made it and gave it to me, pretty sure it's the "Hana" battery though.

Ah, nice! Tis the season. :)

I should have gotten that, sometimes it takes a pretty good size brick to get through to me, on bad days the brain is pretty clouded. :(
