Has anyone here tried the Titanium Wire 26 AWG RW0502 - 500 FT 3.38 oz Grade 1 Non-Resistance AWG

It says "Non-Resistance" wire, but I bet thats just an industrial classification.
I could be wrong on this, I am to remember seeing that type of titanium in wire wizard on steam engine, and I also seem to remember reading somewhere that it's different resistance that grade 1? Which is why it has its own csv profile. I don't know of if it Vapes any differently...

I've been on a SS316 kick lately. Before that I couldn't get reproducible results from anything except ni200... Maybe the 30g and 32g Ti I have is not good quality? I don't know.

Here I though I got a good deal @ ecig.com on Memorial day. They just keep getting cheaper! 10% off coupon on top of this is tough to beat!

Board costs more than that!
Oh Em gee....somebody else said it, the board costs $55! That's a deal.

I have a local ecig store but they don't match online prices, the web and b&m prices never match either.

I have a question albeit a little stupid. So I bought some ni200 clapton wire from fasttech a while ago, I tried it in my mizer and it didn't like it...

I recently got a Griffin 25, so I decided to try the ni200 clapton again (second attempt using this wire), again same single coil configuration in the Griffin, I don't remember the wraps? But based on the 0.05ohm reading I'm gonna say about the same number of wraps.

The coil won't stay in TC mode. It pops back to wattage mode (temp reads OFF while firing, 450f while idle)

I've tried the coil compressed (touching) and spaced, same result.... And the ohms jump higher after using it (vaping) a while, I've seen it go as high as 0.12ohm.

So, I'm not a clapton user, not much into coil porn, have been loyal to TC since I got my dna40.... I generally build single coil 28g ni200 or dual coil 28g SS316.

So, does ni200 clapton not work in TC mode? Is it made for wattage guys who want ultra low resistance builds? Or am I building it wrong?

Has anyone else used clapton ni200 for TC?

I remember Mike tried it and had the same problem a while back, he may have more infor for you. I would think so long as your connections were tight it would work on a spaced coil.

Never got that clapton wire to work in TC mode, but it vaped good in power mode
Really, you used NI200 wire in power mode? Think I would throw it away before doing that. Could it have been mislabelled Nichrome Clapton wire?

It's pronounced Y'ALL, you maple syrup eater! :D (j/k)

Last time I used U-all I was given some grief! ...Tibs... Like I wasn't allowed to use that terminology cause of my Nationality. Is it PC to use Y'all, U-all Witch is more correct?

I finally made my own Clapton wire 26 & 30 gauge Kanthol. It was a lot of work to wind & coil, IMO not really worth it. I didn't find enough difference to justify all the prep :(
