That brought me to an interesting question. How many mods do you have?
I currently have 12 in daily rotation (2 DNA75, 5 DNA200, 4 DNA40, 1 DNA30) and a few old mods in my vape box. I usually use 2-3 most of the day and grab a different one for an hr or so in the evening.

I was just thinking the same thing today. Instead of a mod and a spare battery, I could have had two mods and two batteries for a little bit more.
we have in parts.. about a dozen dna 75&200's + daily beaters about 20 in 1 x 18650 and a few 2 x18650's...Ill probably grab more if time allows...after the fire that used to be my wallet cools off...its been a CIB trying to cover all the angles at once honestly...daily crap in particular...different tanks and heads and rebuildable heads for various tanks I already had and RTAs of course..Im really hoping things take a while to wind down before it gets really scarce (or expensive)

I'm relying on Evolv chips with at least six of each, DNA75, DNA200 and DNA40, plus a few DNA25s hanging around. They're not all assembled, but I can easily (yeah, right) build something for them as needed. Those plus some IPVs, iSticks and Innokin stuff.
I've settled on two tank styles, Foggers and Aromamizers and have ten of each along with a good inventory of spare parts for both. I also like the FEV V3 and have three of them with a ton of spare pars, but given they're all stainless other than "O" rings they should last well beyond the time I'll need them for.
My biggest hurdle is converting the Mrs. from iClears to RTAs, but I am making progress. I'm gonna do an FEV V3 for her, tomorrow or Thursday, with a Ti coil for use on her DNA75 that just needs assembly (finished up the modified battery sled this morning and waiting for JB Weld to harden).

I honestly don't think the this imaginary iron gate is going to slam shut and lock us in and "them" out Aug 8 (or whenever the date is). I think the mainstream part of it will change enough over time to deter the casual vaper, but I think the real enthusiasts will be able to continue on. Nic being the being variable imo.
Evolv may (or may not?) survive as we know it today, but something will always be available somewhere from someone in someplace. That's just the reality of it, imho.
Add to this, as I understood Aug 8 isn't dooms day, it's the last day for new products to released under the 2 year grandfather law for sales without the proper paperwork. So things available before Aug 8 should (SHOULD?) still be available for upto an additional 2 years before action is taken. Now I could be wrong, but that's what I understood.

I don't have any spares for my mods. I didn't even think of that but I ordered the DNA75's just because Mike runs a great co-op. I had no plans for them but I stumbled on the Silo cases for a great price so that's where they live now. They are possibly my favorite mods now.

I use Clapton in TC all of the time. But I don't know about Fasttech's Clapton Ni200. As I use Focus ecig Clapton Ni 26G/32G wire and I love it a lot.
I've tried the fasttech ni200 clapton twice, same exact results both times. It's either not made right or of low quality? Be either way the ft ni200 clapton don't work for me. I tried to talk myself into the DNA75 coop and couldn't. I had no enclosures for them, I don't have the talent, workshop or tools to do the milling some of these guys are capable of. Had I known about those boxes before hand, I would have done the same thing you did. But now I'm no longer disappointed. Ordering the dna200 mods for $55 with battery, board, the works made up for any regret I had.
If I could afford it right now, I'd order 3+ more... If they still have any later I may do that...
Btw: that price has been published ($55 dna200 ecig) on the vape deals site so they will sell out fast now... If anyone has been on the fence, get off your backside or you'll miss out.

You should be able to get a good idea as to their workings by checking the difference between cold ohms and live ohms when fired at the expected wattage.
