thanks mackman..just couldnt remember which one(s) had the issue and never really planned on buying one but that deal was just too good to pass up this time...this whole stocking up deals has my head spinning and my wallet screaming..
Just a few......That brought me to an interesting question. How many mods do you have?
I was just thinking the same thing today. Instead of a mod and a spare battery, I could have had two mods and two batteries for a little bit more.I have to be honest, with the vape scene being as uncertain as it is... I would rather by another mod $55 with the battery instead of the battery only for $20. Essentially you'd be leaving a dna200 board there for $35. But hey, that's me.
we have in parts.. about a dozen dna 75&200's + daily beaters about 20 in 1 x 18650 and a few 2 x18650's...Ill probably grab more if time allows...after the fire that used to be my wallet cools off...its been a CIB trying to cover all the angles at once honestly...daily crap in particular...different tanks and heads and rebuildable heads for various tanks I already had and RTAs of course..Im really hoping things take a while to wind down before it gets really scarce (or expensive)That brought me to an interesting question. currently have 12 in daily rotation (2 DNA75, 5 DNA200, 4 DNA40, 1 DNA30) and a few old mods in my vape box. I usually use 2-3 most of the day and grab a different one for an hr or so in the evening.

Yes this is the way I understood it too after I listened to Dimitris in Phil's video.Add to this, as I understood Aug 8 isn't dooms day, it's the last day for new products to released under the 2 year grandfather law for sales without the proper paperwork. So things available before Aug 8 should (SHOULD?) still be available for upto an additional 2 years before action is taken. Now I could be wrong, but that's what I understood.
I use Clapton in TC all of the time. But I don't know about Fasttech's Clapton Ni200. As I use Focus ecig Clapton Ni 26G/32G wire and I love it a lot.I have a question albeit a little stupid. So I bought some ni200 clapton wire from fasttech a while ago, I tried it in my mizer and it didn't like it...
I recently got a Griffin 25, so I decided to try the ni200 clapton again (second attempt using this wire), again same single coil configuration in the Griffin, I don't remember the wraps? But based on the 0.05ohm reading I'm gonna say about the same number of wraps.
The coil won't stay in TC mode. It pops back to wattage mode (temp reads OFF while firing, 450f while idle)
I've tried the coil compressed (touching) and spaced, same result.... And the ohms jump higher after using it (vaping) a while, I've seen it go as high as 0.12ohm.
So, I'm not a clapton user, not much into coil porn, have been loyal to TC since I got my dna40.... I generally build single coil 28g ni200 or dual coil 28g SS316.
So, does ni200 clapton not work in TC mode? Is it made for wattage guys who want ultra low resistance builds? Or am I building it wrong?
Has anyone else used clapton ni200 for TC?
I've tried the fasttech ni200 clapton twice, same exact results both times. It's either not made right or of low quality? Be either way the ft ni200 clapton don't work for me. I didn't know Mike had similar experience with it... So I'm personally done with ni200 clapton.I use Clapton in TC all of the time. But I don't know about Fasttech's Clapton Ni200. I tried to talk myself into the DNA75 coop and couldn't. I had no enclosures for them, I don't have the talent, workshop or tools to do the milling some of these guys are capable of. Had I known about those boxes before hand, I would have done the same thing you did. But now I'm no longer disappointed. Ordering the dna200 mods for $55 with battery, board, the works made up for any regret I had.I don't have any spares for my mods. I didn't even think of that but I ordered the DNA75's just because Mike runs a great co-op. I had no plans for them but I stumbled on the Silo cases for a great price so that's where they live now. They are possibly my favorite mods now.
I have 12 KF4 clones, 5 KM3 clones and I have 12 KF5 clones inbound. I also have an Aromamizer v2, a Lemo2 and 3 RDA's (a few KFL+'s too). I have 400'+ of rayon, over 500' of wires and about 4 liters worth of e-juice that I normally cut with VG.
Have you tried inputting a manual TCR through Escribe and adusting the value to try to get it to work in TC and thereby figure out the grade they are selling?I've tried the fasttech ni200 clapton twice, same exact results both times. I ordered some stuff from lightning Vapes, but I think there was an issue during the ordering process? So if it comes in ok... If not I'll survive.![]()
You should be able to get a good idea as to their workings by checking the difference between cold ohms and live ohms when fired at the expected wattage.Have you tried inputting a manual TCR through Escribe and adusting the value to try to get it to work in TC and thereby figure out the grade they are selling?
