Used it on this and it worked well. Flux came off with a toothbrush and some alcohol.
The kit with the solder and flux I linked on the Harris website, part number 500K has a lower melting point then some others I have looked at Solidus - 391ºF, Liquidus - 482ºF
Removing the flux is something I'm going to dig deeper into before buying. I'm going to give the Harris company a call, tell them I want to use it for electrical connections and see if there is a solvent I can use to wash the flux away, I'll report back what they have to say.

Yeah, got to read a flipping manual to configure the thing, but so far it seems like a solid board.

I think this is an interesting expansion in the vaping chip market, up till now the choices were limited.
Now were seeing Russian & German made chips, this can only help the vaping market, more competitions usually leads to better quality products & new innovations
At my age, Steamer, figuring it out isn't the big problem...remembering what to do a few weeks later is a big problem though.
Many years ago I went from twisting wrenches only on American made cars to a VW, Audi & Porsche dealership. It took me about a year to get use to the German way of thinking behind their designs, about another year to grow very fond of them. They design and make some nice stuff, different for sure but well thought out and well made. I can't say if it still holds true, but the German's workers use to have pride in their work, something that I have seen slowly degrade here.
I still love the great American made muscle cars, beefy and powerful, I miss the cars I use to own and would love to have them back today. I also miss the early VW Rabbit GT's and Scirocco's I owned, while they didn't have the horsepower, man they would stick to the road like glue at high speeds in corners.

But Dicodes chips have been around for years. And all of this time they only had a niche following. I think they are so far behind the times. I mean only seeing one thing at a time on the screen is so old school.I'm sure it just looks complicated at first. Once you figure it out it will be easy

Really? When I was a teenager, I bought a VW Beetle. The engine had no oil filter, so you have to change the oil more often. The gas? Used a stick to check how much gas you had in the tank. Window washer? No pump, used air from your spare tire. Heat? No heat in the winter and I had to use an ice scrapper while I was driving on the inside windshield. Battery? It was under the back seat and when someone sits back there it would smoke because the seat springs were shorting out the battery. Yeah that was some fine engineering alright.
