Sitting down, facing forward.
Hmmm, I sort of "dabble" at being a flashlight junkie. I have a couple of Vizeri and use 18650s in them. They can throw a beam at least a half mile on "high" and are dazzling if you get hit in the eyes with the beam. They're small enough to be "mouth held" in a pinch, but I've been considering a headlamp style. Problem is one of the guys I used to work with had one, way back before CREE bulbs, and looked kind of like a weakly illuminated dweeb when he used it.

Is the battery weight noticeable with a dual battery headlight?

Nothing weak about the illumination. Once its on your head you dont notice the weight, the batteries sort of balance out the lamp on the front.

Yeah, there are nicer ones now, Ive got mine a while back. Think this is the one I got:

$16.46 1*LED 3-Mode 1000LM Neutral White LED Headlamp - 2*18650 / headband at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Damn! Those things are HUGE!

I still like my Princeton Tec Fuel. The battery door tab broke after a bit over a year of use and PT sent me 2 new replacement doors no charge. The replacement has lasted over 3 yrs now. The battery door design isn't very good but they stand behind their products and they work great. Lightweight and easy to use.

On another topic...

My internal 2tb storage hd started getting flaky last week (lost some files) so I ordered a 4tb hd from Amazon. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday and it was marked as delivered but no package. I figured it was a temp mailperson being lazy (my regular mailwoman is awesome and I tip her well :D ). This morning, I get my package from a neighbor a few blocks away. He said it was delivered yesterday. Good to know there's honest people still around. I spent most of the day copying 1.4tb of data and sifting thru what I lost. Good thing most of them are easily replaceable.

I also noticed the fire button on one of my DNA75 Silos wasn't clicky like the other so I took it apart and found the positive wire to the 510 pin was in the way. Moved it out of the way and all's well again.

I guess it depends on the size of the head it is on. Mine barely fits adjusted to the max. I did have to get a special order helmet when I played football...and Mike is no ballerina.

We Americans are all about the NFL. As I understand it, the rest of the world is obsessed with futbol (soccer [emoji460]) and while we are obsessed with football [emoji458], me being from Texas, specifically a suburb of Dallas (go cowboys, yeah even when they suck) football is sacred here. Heck, the cowboys stadium is about 15 to 20 mins from my house, I've got a buddy who lives less than a mile away from "Jerry's World" as its known.

Anyway, I find it fascinating how the rest of the entire world finds soccer sacred, while we Americans (well most of us anyway) find NFL football sacred and have little to no regard for the game of soccer.

I've played and watched golf [emoji466] tournaments, but not soccer. (heck I've never watched it - I may like it?)

Watching athletes in person vs on tv is pretty amazing. I worked at an arena and had to test a wifi system while a hockey team was practicing (they were in the playoffs). I never got into hockey but these guys were just goofing around and it was amazing to see how much control they had with the puck.

I gave up pro sports because there's too many princesses taking over all major sports. I only follow F1 and MotoGP now.

Alonso crashed at 193mph and walked away. He knew his mom was watching and didn't want her to worry so he got out of his car as fast as he could.

So none of you guy's follow cricket?
:p

Until 11 years we play rounders in school, very like softball/baseball, but much small bat and under arm bowling. Above 11 it's cricket over here. The Irish have a proper macho bat and ball game call hurling.

Not into football or soccer as you call it, but IMO it is more exciting than that US football that has too many stoppages and changes players as you go up and down the field. They tried many times to make it popular over here including a channel showing the best NFL matches for a few years, but it never happened. Each to their own.

If you ever get the chance to watch the final of Austrian rules football it's a cracker as no sending off for fouls so they really get stuck in, no helmets & minimal padding.
