I got one on the way. I agree, the extra wattage is meaningless to me. The 2A charger will be nice for a fast charge model, and the bigger fuse might be good, although I have never blown a fuse yet.2a charger is cool, otherwise I still dont see anything there that applies to me? I'm pretty satisfied with my DNA200s - until I find the 250 on sale somewhere.![]()
Need anything more detailed than Walter Ego posted above? I can snap a pic if needed.Know you are under NDA & can't so I am not really asking, but I am dying to see the mounting of the 60 and the configuration of that usb board.
Caliper measurements on the charging board would be awesome! ThanksNeed anything more detailed than Walter Ego posted above? I can snap a pic if needed.

How do you mount the 60 without rails or screw pads? What am I missing here? Is there a clip cradle included?
Not included with chip?![]()

The beta mods used a plastic cradle designed for the enclosure.
IMO a big mistake on your part. I got the SX mini Q with the 450 & it's the same as the 350 nothing new, not really an improvement at all over the 350j. I wasted my money on it, but I have to try stuff for my self, for me not a big deal to waste a few bucks just to know for sure. DNA 200 on E-Scribe RULZ! Nothing even comes closeYea if I'm spending 80$ on a new board im going to try the sx550 first

So modders have to 3d print our own cradle mount because Evolv was too cheap to include the breakaway rails? That is disappointing, but at least they made it to market.
Yeah, I too have spent big bucks on an SX, unbelievable the way they do temp limiting. At first we all thought the Joules thing was marketing, but it's not, they just hit the coil with the set power, then cut the power after it passes the temp, wait for it to cool a bit below the temp and blast it again and so on. Joules is a meaningful measurement for that way of doing that. To me it is like having a switch instead of a throttle peddle in a car, sure you can run at any avg speed you want, it wont be comfortable.IMO a big mistake on your part. Sugru is great for holding the board in on one off's.So modders have to 3d print our own cradle mount because Evolv was too cheap to include the breakaway rails? That is disappointing, but at least they made it to market.

Just find it a tad disappointing & unprofessional not to at least provide the break away provisions. I get that it was rushed, & revisions may be forthcoming, but Sugru, Hot Glue, or Epoxy should not be mounting method they intend or recommend. That aint gonna fly.Sugru is great for holding the board in on one off's.
I have never used the rails, making something for them to screw into is just another job like making aboard mount to me. You can't put Sugru in the same bracket as hot glue, IMO never mount you board with hot glue. Sugru is a slow cure silicone putty with no solvents so it won't damage you board like some epoxies, it's easy to work with, high temp rating, food safe, reasonable easy to remove, bonds well to both porous and non-porous surfaces, strong and hold it's shape.Just find it a tad disappointing & unprofessional not to at least provide the break away provisions. Was reading that last time you recommended it for sleds but never heard of it prior & no experience with it. Seems like cool stuff, but iirc it ain't cheap, has limited shelf life, & when you open a packet you better use it all & throw rest away.I have never used the rails, making something for them to screw into is just another job like making aboard mount to me. Yea you have to use it within 30 mins when opening it, but I keep it in the fridge and recently used some a year out of date to repair a couple of rips in some The North Face walking shoes. Over here one of the large DIY chains sell a small pack for about 2GBP, I tend to get it on ebay. Was reading that last time you recommended it for sleds but never heard of it prior & no experience with it.
