I had to have a combo Italian beef salsiccia sammich for dinner tonight. Forgot the deli down the street closes @ 5pm. I think tomorrow night it'll be Founder's Cheesesteak from Penn Station...

Now I have to walk by it. Quickly. It just sits there. Mocking me. You know. You want me, fat. Isn't the worst thing you can be.
My wife makes cheese cake from scratch and it's oh so good, the thing is almost as tall as a double layer cake, firm on the outside and creamy in the center, yum! She only makes it for holidays and special occasions and that's a good thing! I think all that's in it is a ton of philly cheese, cream, eggs, sugar and flavorings.
This is going to sound very bad but... Don't you hate that!? My wife cooks amazing and has a few specialty items that are basically reserved for holidays, like your wife's cheesecake... Like I said earlier in the thread, I'm a fat man... So good food excites me! While I look forward to holidays and any excuse for good home cooked meals, I hate the mundane daily grind of deli, fast food, boring not-so-good restaurants, etc.....
Damn it! Now I'm hungry and I want something amazing.... I can't cook - but I can BBQ. Maybe ribeye steaks are on sale somewhere!?
Yeah I hear you, now that's it's just the two of us she doesn't cook as much as she use too. But she will make a big pot of something good and we'll eat on that for a few days, and I'm fine with that. I can't cook as good as she can but I can hold my own if I get in the mood. Sometimes I'll pick up a store made cheese cake, Sam's Club makes a good one. Sometimes I'll make the Jello brand no bake cheese cake, comes with the filling and the gram cracker crust, like $2.50 at WalMart. It's quick, easy, better the nothing and I like it for a midnight snack. They also make the same thing but with a fruit topping in the box for another $1.50 but I like it plain.
Any one have any experience with Gear Best? Just wondering what their shipping is like?

I thought this could be pretty fast now all most a week later the tracking # says electronic info sent by shipper Is this going to be like a FT thing, minimum a month before I get any thing?
Any way would just like to know of any ones experience ordering from them.

In my experience, GB took longer than FT, and their communication was less coherent. Not to mention they welshed on an advertised deal on me, took my money then 2 days later refunded it saying they made mistake and the real price was 2 times more.

I ordered a serpent mini from them. They shipped it via Netherlands Post and took 5 weeks. Sat in customs in NL, then in NYC customs.
The only reason I tried was because people were saying that they're better than before (like Mike's experience). I won't be ordering from them again. Ever.
