Was anyone lucky enough to take advantage of the YetiVape Black Friday Deal on Aromamizer Supreme? Just heard they were selling them for $3.75 ea. from a guy who ordered 20 of them.

How did I miss that one?

Edit: This apparently had something to do with a 50% off coupon combined with a doorbuster sale. 50% off coupon was not supposed to work with doorbuster, but Yetivape honored their mistake.

I tried hard to stay with a single coil to save on battery life but it's just such a nice vape with dual, couldn't stick with it.
I bounced back and forth between single and duals for a long time. Finally settled on duals on atties that accomodate either single or dual. The flavor seems better and I like a shorter pull.
I still use a few dedicated single coil atties for out and about though. Easily pocketable.

Have to agree the Mizer works best with duals :)

I've been trying my Aromamizer v2 again and it's seems to work pretty well with a dual coil 316ss @ .2Ω but it goes thru the battery really fast. My DNA250 is set to 450°F and 30w. I'm thinking of going back to a single coil just so the battery doesn't drain so fast.

If your looking for a single coil atty, that IMO works better than a K-F V5, Try a Rose V3 or a Squape X dream. In single coil mode I like both of those better than a V5 :)

I've been lung hitting more often lately which is why I went back to try the Aromamizer again. It's not bad but I can drain a 1300mah 3s in a few hours. The KF5 with a .6Ω 430ss single coil at wide open is pretty good, much better than MTL. I have a .8Ω 430ss single coil build on a Serpent Mini and battery life (and flavor) is really good but it only holds 3ml.

I'll take a look at the 2 you mentioned.

You could try a single vertical coil in the mizer by twisting the positive post 45 deg, it's just pressed in, a snug fit but you can twist it to new location with needle nose pliers, remember when I posted pics when I tried it? If not I can dig and see if I can find the pics I posted, the idea came from another thread Mike posted the link too. The guy in the other thread covered on of the juice holes with a piece of silicone and drill a new one in another location, I didn't do that, I just pulled tails of the wick between the posts and tucked in under the positive so all the existing holes were covered. I got a lot of vapor from it, as much as dual coils, but I couldn't get as good flavor. I only tried three different coils so it's likely I could have found a sweet spot for good flavor if I had stuck with it. Awe heck, I see if I can find the ics and links, give me a few.....

It don't take long to drain the battery with duals, doing lung hits :)
At this time my favourite single coil atty is the Rose V3, despite a few short comings it has.
It has a PMMA tank :nah: It leaks a bit out the bottom :nah: I got both the clones off 3F the cheeper one & the SJMY one, both leak a bit thru the bottom, very little, I take them off & give a wipe every once & awhile.
The Air flow is good :thumb: The flavour is real good  The capacity isn't bad 4 mills :thumb:

Sitting down, facing forward.
My single coil favorites are the FEV V3, for durability and vapor, and the Bachelor with just great output. The FEV takes a little fussing the first time you wick it to get the mesh "straws" right but no leaks ever. The Bachelor takes a little finesse with the wicks to prevent seepage, but once you get the technique, it never seeps either. Heck, if I can figure it out, anyone can.

I saw the PMMA tank. That's a deal breaker for me. The Squape X Dream is too big. I wanted something more compact. The KF5 has been working very well for me and I haven't found anything that checks off the boxes I want in an atomizer so far. The KM3 is a great MTL tank and the KF5 is more like a jack of all trades, master of none. It's a bit too airy for MTL but I kinda like the restricted lung hits when its wide open.

The Aromamizer will be a novelty atomizer for me. I really don't see any benefits to dual coils over a single.

I'm not a big fan of PMMA Tanks or post-less decks for that matter. But I have to try any thing that I think looks good :) Bottom line it out performs any other single coil atty I have.
The X Dream is about the same size as the V5, For me I'm still waiting for the E-mantle coating to go for a crap like the other squapes have done.
So far it hasn't happened, fingers crossed this ones different.

The older Lemo 2 wasn't a bad single coil atty for its day. Had good air & good flavor at the time, but tried going back to it after Aromamizer and it felt pretty restricted. Gotta have more air than a KF though.

Lemo 2 is still a good atty :) I still use mine :)

I liked Lemo 2 and used them regularly for single Ti coil builds. Tried KF5 but much too restrictive for my taste.

Lately I have been lazy and have just been using some Cubis tanks I bought dirt cheap a while back with 0.25ohm notch coils. Just been too busy to build and those crappy little Cubis tanks have a good performance/power ratio for on the go. Good enough until I get caught up & can devote more time to the hobby.

How is the notch coil? I got a few with atty's I bought but never tried them.
Does SS TC work good on the DNA's now?
I use my Supremes more than any thing, lite & 25mm.
I have a few post-Less decks comming for the 25mm, from FT but their on the slow boat :(
A month or so now & their no wear in sight :( When they finally get here I'm going to try a giant single coil :)
I'm having good luck with a 4mm+ coil in my merlins, the merlins are a little to restrictive though.
Excellent flavour just got to pull real hard to get a good hit :(

Notch is a lot better on the DNA after Evolv redid the curve. Before that I used to set a TCR Linear curve for them on the DNA, forget the number, maybe .00125 or something like that. Found it somewhere in the Cubis thread and it ran good with it. The Stock 0.25ohm Vertical Notch coils for Cubis spit like a machine gun right into you mouth but an Aromamizer drip tip stops that in its tracks & makes it a very respectable, very moist & flavorful vape. They heat up quick & have plenty of surface area. Under TC they can last forever & those stock coils are easy to disassemble, dryburn, & rewick. Those little Cubis Tanks have damn good airflow and and if you drop it on the jobsite and it shatters, who cares? Grab another & go.

Never replace a good Aromamizer atty experience, but for on the go battery / performance in an essentially disposable package, they are good enough.
