Seriously though, I try to live by those words every day (especially here at work, ERMAHGERD) but sometimes I feel the need to express offense to right the balance thrown off kilter by "zealots" (I really wanted to use a term or terms that are being thrown around in the political scene).

I worked a couple jobs where I sometimes had to face an unhappy customer, it was hard not to take things personally, sometimes real hard.

Thats gross, I figure ice packs and packing are 5lb, so I "think" it is about 11lb of food, but no clue what yet.

I'm a quitter, Uncle Uncle Uncle I give!!! Been working on the house and I really got the nerves in my neck flared up badly, worse it's ever been. The pain is in my neck, going into my shoulder and down my arm to the elbow. I could fell it coming on last week, the doc gives me a steroid dose pack to keep on hand when things get bad so I started on it last Friday, finished it today thinking that would take care of it like usual but it hasn't helped a bit, it just keeps getting worse..... I was in so much pain last night I couldn't sleep, I reclined in the lazyboy with two heating pads, one on wrapped around my neck and one on my shoulder. I hit my max daily dose of six Vicodin at 5 PM so I took my bedtime 30mg morphine and SOB nothing is touching the pain, ugghhh!!! It's going to be another long night, God I need some sleep.... Looks like I'm gonna be down for a few more days, getting old sucks soooo bad.
Sorry, I'm just whining, I'll push through it, I've been through a lot worse pain when I had my accident and lost my leg. Been living with this chronic spine pain going on ten years now, after a while you learn to push some of it out of your thoughts. But when it's relentless, stabbing at you hour after hour for days that's when it starts wearing you down, I'm just getting punchy and grumpy.
