Sitting down, facing forward.
You're just peachy, Steamer! I don't do fruit or confection flavors though.

I like the Bachelor for a single coil RTA. Haven't fooled with a Merlin, admittedly, but it's fairly easy to build, has ~5ml capacity, good flavor and vapor and the top fill holes are quite large, probably would take a 14 gauge needle. It's not an Aromamizer but I run it consistently at 30 watts and 450F with both Ti and SS coils. I did have a problem with seeping and getting the density right in the slots for the wick, but fixed that easily by switching from Graham Cellucotton to tencel. I do shut down both the air and liquid ports before filling and close the top as soon as I fill the tank and wipe off the top cap area. One of the nicer features is that you can take the base off, complete with coil, with the tank full so it can be rebuilt very conveniently. In that sense it is exactly like an Aromamizer.

I agree with Mike. Top fill or bottom fill are the same thing to me. I never refill with the tank on a mod because I like to wipe everything down with IPA at a refill/replacement so it makes no difference to me. In that respect, bottom fill is easier because you don't need to remember to shut off the liquid ports before filling.

3kg of tea directly from Kunming China. (plus the obligatory samples)
I will blend all 3 together, this stuff makes the best iced tea!!!

BTW Steamer, this shipped 12/19/16......
I chose the slow boat because of the weight.

Excellent time for the "Slow Boat" :) I have another shipment that left the 13th & it's moving along quite nicely to :)

Btw I tried the Peach Strawberry, I have to say I'm not a strawberry fan at all, but it's nice with the peach, it's like the 2 flavours melded together. With the Peach vanilla Bean ice cream I can taste predominantly the peach.
Thanks Mike :)

My own personal blend of three varietals of Yunnan Gold. If you like black tea and have never tried Yunnan Gold you owe yourself a go at it.

Use water at a FULL boil, steep for no more than three minutes as after 3 minutes the tannic acid starts to leach into the liquor making it more bitter.

Have not had any problem filling, but I do close off the juice holes before I fill, and I fill quickly, no doddling.

To me though, top or bottom fill makes little difference if I still have to unscrew, and set aside, a piece that is messy with juice. What makes the Merlin nice though is large fill holes.

My preferred filling method is side filling with the sliding door like on an OBS Crius, Engine or V.
My second would be side fill with removable top caps on RDTAs like the Quad Flex, L+ or Ijoy Combo.
My third pick would be bottom fill like the STmini or Aromas but even then I leave the base attached to the mod and just unscrew the tank section while holding the mod upside down.
My least favorite is an easy pick; screw on top fill. It's already a fussy enough endeavor to get RTA wick tails trimmed and positioned for good juice flow and leak prevention during use and I just don't want to have to worry about a screw on top fill cap sometimes compressing juice out all over the place. I have several of this style RTAs and have found the best way to deal with the issue is to vape them dry-ish under tc before refilling. At least then the wicks can absorb some of the squeeze out.

Thats were a good working JFC comes in. If the JFC don't seal well, thats when you get issues.
There are plenty of tanks with good JFC. Rite off the bat the Supremes come to mind here, I can pour right out of the bottle & fill it in seconds, turn the juice back on & go :)
I guess were polar opposites cause my least favourite way to fill is top side like the engine :(

I guess I lost interest in jfc attys cuz my og Griffin was such a complete fail. It didn't really matter whether or not you closed it while filling, if you could get it closed (had to loosen the atty from the mod). I never bought another jfc atty; figured the less parts the better.

What kind of power levels can the Supreme handle?

There are 3 variants 23,25,&30mm. They can handle what ever you want to throw at them.
I have my preheats @ 100 watts for 3 seconds on my DNA's. They never dry hit.
I only have the JFC set to half open, it could feed even more juice if you really wanted to go crazy! IMO the Best! atty ever!
The 30mm has a huge deck you can put 2 huge Claptons side by side

Is that your build? That's some super fine claptoning wire. What coils are they, 3mm 26x2/38? It's hard to tell scale with that monster deck:shock:
