Wow 55 pages! I gave up on that thread a while back now.
What could they possibly still be discussing?
It's pretty simple, keep it below 450!
The diameter of a gnat fart on cold day when the sun is shining and wind is blowing to the west.

Sitting down, facing forward.
You left off the part of dancing, naked, in the back yard with an eggplant on your head during a full moon on a cloudy night with a 3mph wind out of the west-southwest.

Seriously, I can't believe the questioning of nasty emissions happening at 470F, or higher, doesn't or can't apply to an atomizer. Nor can I understand the unwillingness to accept that high temperature can happen in low power devices.

...and as usual it's about the big bad dangerous unregulated e-cigarette industry instead of the stupid act of a person.

"This was not staged," Gutierrez said. "No one thinks that a battery left in their pocket is somehow going to 'explode. After careful research, I now know this can happen. I am not the only one this has happened to, but I am in a position to shed light on the situation."

And then :

"The dangers of these devices, and accessories, have led me to quit using e-cigarette products," Gutierrez said.

yea...riiiiight...hellzbellzzzzz...he's REALLY shedding some light there...
