Oh ya cigs went up by $2 a pack yesterday here in California which I have no problem with but vaping cost increase , now that's not good.

I oppose any "sin" or any similar non evenly applied tax on principle. Paraphrased and used out of context but applies none the less....They came for me but no one was left to stop them....majority rule can go sideways quick.

They (Ca.) seem to have their arses on backwards. But nothing unexpected.

Expanded Definition of tobacco Products for Licensing Purposes
As of June 9, 2016, state law expanded the definition of tobacco products, for cigarette and tobacco products retail licensing purposes, to include:

• Any product containing, made of, or derived from tobacco or nicotine that is intended for human consumption.
• Any electronic smoking or vaping device that delivers nicotine or other vaporized liquids.
• Any component, part, or accessory of a tobacco product, whether or not sold separately.

Examples include, but are not limited to, electronic cigarettes, atomizers, vaping tanks or mods, and eLiquids or eJuices.

Effective January 1, 2017, any retailer that sells any product included in the expanded definition of tobacco products is required to obtain and maintain a Cigarette and Tobacco Products Retailer's License from the Board of Equalization (BOE) in order to engage in the retail sale of these products.

Starting 04-02-17 Ca. tax is $2.87 per pack......it did cause my wife to grab onto her vape again. Not sure how much vape stuff will increase though.

The states individually have been making a fortune off Big Tobacco to manipulate the laws so they don't get sued for more than a certain amount!
With less people smoking, less revenue is coming in, so there is a short fall in the revenues
As more & more people .... Out, & start to vape.
The revenue short fall will end up on Us. The money has to come from some were.

It does look like her. Better with the hair me thinks. Never really got into the Marvel Comics, movies or tv series.
