Got my replacement DNA75C's this morning. Evolv asked to ship only the board, no screen, but they sent back what looks like new retail boards with screens so I have 2 spare screens :). I was hesitant to upload a theme but did one and tested and worked fine so I did the other. Just the enhanced stock theme from the Evolv forum because it has a few extra features that I like. Weird that I had to shave the up, select and down buttons to work with the new boards. The Shapeways screen holder positions the screen perfectly centered in the cutout. I like the VT510 better than the MC 510 because the flat platform holds an atomizer better. The spring might be stronger on the MC 510 but I've never had an issue with the VT510 spring. I'm on the fence about the magnets. The back cover seems to move around a bit because there's no tabs to hold it in place other than the magnets. Overall, I'm very happy with the 2 new Silo DNA75C mods.

Speaking of, any links where i would start to learn about this process would be appreciated. I currently have 26g 316L ss wire and an Istick Pico. Where would i start ? I tried to wing it with disastrous results. Sometimes 220 degrees fahrenheit would be way too hot, and sometimes i could barely get any vapor at 450 degrees !

Btw, most of my RTA's are MTL tanks ( Digiflavor Siren, Taifun, KFL v2 ). I also have a Rose V2 which i never use, oh and the one with a geometric pattern as a logo ( set up for dual coils ) which i never use either.
Anyone here know the peculiarities of TC on an Istick Pico?

I'm impressed with the finish the soda blasting gave, I do grit blasting at home sometimes but never soda, do you have a blaster made for soda? I've had car body parts soda blasted for me at a shop that has a big setup that blasts soda mixed with water, does and amazing job of removing paint and rust without any damage or warpage to sheet metal, it's too expensive of a setup to use once a year at home.

I have 1. Bought 2 from FT and used 1 for about an hour and put it back in the box. Gifted the unused one to a friend for his b-day. Life's too short to use non-Evolv powered mods.

20oz blaster from HF with a 20% off for $16 :). The reviews recommend drilling the feed holes but I just cleaned it up for a smoother delivery of media. I used plain old dry baking soda (Arm & Hammer). I wasn't even sure it would make a difference before I started but very happy with the results. Tractor Supply Co has Black Diamond blasting media (fine and medium) for $8/50lb bag so it's cheaper than baking soda but the nearest TSC is 30 miles away so I figured I'd try baking soda first.

I use an Istick Pico in my regular rotation. 24ga. Single coil 316L 5/4 wrap standard SS program .44 ohms 20 watts. Would call it temp control more like temp limiting. Wotofo Serpent Mini

For the last couple of years I have been just wingging it when I DIY juice. Most of the time I do unflavored, but when I do make a flavor, I dont use a recipe an anything. My standard is a peach blend. I havent found a single peach that ever nailed it for me so i usually combine 3 different brands of peach. I made a batch today that just NAILED IT, and I more/less remember what I did too. The Zen was with me....

Been playing with tungsten and SS430. Both good wires. But I ran into a problem. I have so many atties floating around that I cant remember what alloy is in what atty. So it was either standardize on one, or start labeling the atties. I chose standardization, and switched everything back to TI...... It works well, and I like the Temco annealed brand, which is readily available.

Next project, figure out how to make a good fused clapton repeatably, without spending half the night on it. The TI claptons work in TC mode, so I am game.....

OMG, please dont ever tell that dude, the one with the tin foil hat who is on crack, that I said this....but this Pharaoh with a TI clapton at 395f just tastes like a damn GA peach orchard with my new peach medley in it.

Mike, I use a label on each atty so I don't forget what wire I have in them. Maybe not beautiful but it eliminates the guesswork. My problem is remembering what flavor I put in them :(
Sounds like you need a 2nd label.....

The first few times I tried to make Clapton wire it was a mess! I tried the cloths pin & a few other methods & wow it was discouraging :(
I thought there has to be an easier way! So I scoured YT & sure enough there was an easier way!
I use the first video method, But the second video looks way easy too :)
I made this same principal as the first video, it works just like the video shows :)
