The FT one is a clone, who makes the Original? Do they have a web site,FB page?
Why is there no video on it any were?
Even some good pictures would help, especially the deck & the wire capture method, wicking channels
A YT review would be nice, even in a foreign language would be ok

I wonder if it would be better to double up on the mesh and sandwich the wick between them. Definitely a lot of interesting building options with this.

Now to source some NiFe52 or Ti mesh...

@mikepetro What do you think of TC with this? Doable?

I experimented with mesh as the heating element a few years ago. What I learned was that any discontinuity in the mesh, IE a loose mesh wire, creates a horrible hot spot with temps high enough to create hexavalent chromium. TC would not prevent this since it looks at total resistance and the change would be nominal.
