So in regards to the excessive cell capacity, I have a power bank from WeBay for cell phone arriving today, it's stated capacity is 80,000 mah. I didn't notice till this morning as I was mis-seeing it as 8000 (which I'll be lucky if that much. Appears to be LiPo powered, too flat for 18650's.

80,000 mah, 80 amp hours, would be starting to get close to the size of a car battery, even at a nominal 3.7 volts. I'd hate to have to carry that around in a pocket, briefcase or backpack.

I received my power bank of "unknown" capacity today. Using my best cable (Hotcig flat) and my DNA250 I checked it's amp output...1.96 amps. I'll try at some point to establish it's capacity, I'll do that in a most primitive manner, I'll charge it with my desktop USB port @ 500 ma when it appears depleted and see how long it take to fully charge.

Yes, exactly like a DNA40
(except for the 3 button press to get into Ni purity)
Pure Ni uses a setting of 70, mine is set at 13 to give me some TP with my SS430
