Heat bill? What's that? :D

It's great, uses about $10 a month in electricity but keeping a few chainsaws and tractor running costs $$ too. My back stays pretty mad at me during cutting season. Whine...whine
Notice the holes in the end of the wood? Oak bores are ravaging our Red Oak trees. At least all of the wood I cut is "Guilt free".

There you go, that's a setup! I use to help my Grandfather split and stack wood, I remember him saying one day, wood warms you repeatedly, cutting, hauling, splitting, stacking and finally burning.

Actually, just remembered I have a couple spare large screens for 200's, can I use one of those on a 60 small screen board? I don't want to plug one on, try it and fubar the board....
Yes!

In my best Andy Rooney voice...."Did you ever notice how often so many things need attention at the same time"?

I seem to be rebuilding atomizers on a wholesale basis the last two days. I have eight mods in use daily and a few extra atomizers as well. That does keep use on any one down quite a bit, but since they all got new builds around the same time they all seem to need rebuilds around the same time. It's amazing the difference that can make! I keep records of the builds and the Aromamizer V1 I'm using now was last rebuilt in June, so I can't really complain all that much.

Willy, I got 4 more DIY Hana mod kits from the Ebay Guy :)
I don't really need them, but I got them for some extra lipo's for cheep :)
When I ordered, He had the enclosure & battery listed for $9.95!
I assembled my 2 :) I like them better than the Silo's from MC or Proto.
A 24mm fit's nice on it & over hangs on the silo's, I like the buttons better too.
Just not a fan of the sharpe edges :( I'm surprised how long they hung around for sale, guess not as many DIY'ers as I thought.

I think he's got a ton of these stuff he bought on a closeout deal. I had emailed him and asked him if he thought he'd still have some more enclosures and extra lipo's after the first of the year (not knowing how hard the wife would hit the savaings account during Christmas ). He told me not to worry, he'd have plenty. But then again you may be right, it could be they aren't moving as fast as we all think but at these prices, you would think they'd go fast.

Yep, those are nice Iceman, several people in my area heat with pellet stoves, even our local Radio Shack.
When we developed our property here we considered setting everything up for ease of use and maintenance but instead opted to design in some things that would force more physical labor. 1/3 mile gravel driveway and 2 miles of trails to maintain, wood heat in shop and house, cut and split firewood by hand, 1800 sq.ft. garden, 200 tree orchard, 3 acre yard, livestock care etc.
I build and remodel homes which is fairly physically demanding (I still do much of the labor myself) but if I didn't have more to do after work I would go stir crazy and waste away in front of a computer or TV.
My neighbor Cecil is 81 years old and still cuts and splits his firewood by hand! He's healthy as a horse and a great example of how a healthy diet and exercise can extend our quality of life. Kind of a role model for us I guess.
We're not delusional, we know that one day this place will be too big for us to take care of but in the meantime we can build it up, beautify it and enjoy the fruits of our labor. When we sell out, barring any unforeseen illness, it's "Buy a motorhome and travel the country time!!" Something we're really looking forward to. :thumb:

All our Radio Shacks are gone. Even though they migrated from a true electronics parts store in the 70's to a glorified personal device store I miss them. There aren't any electronics parts places now and there used to be many local and chain here. Everything is throw away now.

Anyone else having issues with bleed through charging on their DNA200? I’m trying to calibrate the case thermal on my ERM from the group buy way back when. I am getting .005 to .010 charge rate heating the mod rendering the thermal calibration moot..

From what I have seen, that amount of bleed is normal as it tries to balance the cells etc. However, I have never observed it closely during Case Analyzer as I never ran into that issue.

I have learned to always start Case Analyzer at about a 30% charge. If you start on a full charge it will never complete as Case Analyzer throws several charge cycles at it, and if the battery is too full they cant take the attempted charge.

If you have already done that, what you might try, not sure if it will work or not, is go into
Device Monitor> Diagnostics> "Disable USB Charging" and then run Case analyzer.

I just tried it for a minute, and it did appear to allow it, but I didnt wait long enough for CA to try to send a charge. The two might conflict each other.

Simplest route is to make a load out of a spare atomizer deck with dual coil capability. Just use some large, equal length, loops of wire, say around .25 ohms net, fanned out for heat dissipation. Alternately, four 1 ohm, 50 watt, resistors in parallel works really well, especially mounted on a heat sink.
