Same "Adult Proof Lid" :D

Well I guess there are two positive's, it makes me stop and ponder, do I want a slice bad enough to work for it and if I do, I'll burn some calories getting to it. One of the down sides is there's no sneaking a piece before dinner without the wife knowing, you can hear the lid snapping off from one end of the house to the other. Hmm.... think I just solved reasons why she keeps putting the lid back on tight.

Well other then a few simple dishes I suck at cooking so there ya go, may well have a lot to do why I didn't have success with diy juices.

It's way easier though, try it one more time with a good recipe & a scale & some squeeze bottles, it doesn't get any simpler... Also go on ELR, (Google e-liquid recipes) and pick out one of the highly rated ones that sound good to you, it's impossible to mess up & there are tons of "leaked" ones from big juice companies. Cuttwood has almost all of their popular juices leaked on there, & I can confirm a bunch from one big company are real bc my buddy tried (unsuccessfully) to get them taken down.

My office today...

LoL, got a kick out of this. Was just watching "How it's made" on TV (on my computer), had to pause it and grab a screen shot. The first segment is on how wood safety matches are made, they show boxes of labeled matches looking like they were made in India. Then onto the factory shots, first it shows a large roll of thin wood used to make them, next shot shows the wood strip being feed into a machine for cutting, the narration says, "first the wood passes under an iron to reduce the moisture content of the wood"

Here's the iron they use.

iron LoL.JPG

ETA: After posting then un-pausing the show I see that wasn't wood match sticks they were making. It was a roll of cardboard, not wood, that machine dries the cardboard, then cuts and forms the little boxes for the matches. Still laughing at the iron.

That's why they call it fishing and not catching. Hey, any day out in the boat, taking in the outdoors and casting line is a good day. I was seriously jealous when I saw the picture, said to myself, Damn, I'd like to be there. A catch is just a bonus, I doubt you will say it was a bad day. ;)

Yeah it's always fun, my favorite part of fishing is probably the toys anyway [emoji15]

Bigger boats more so... My dad used to have a 48' sport fisher.

The tide went out on the way back in & we had to very carefully use the electric motor to get the boat up on the trailer. All that wind blew a bunch of mud in & the marina where we keep the trailer is like 1 foot at low tide with all kinds of crap poking out, like there used to be this bridge that was sunk in the early 1900's that would connect the two parts of alexandria, & yeah we ran over that thing, & I broke the transducer off the bottom of the motor.

Bust Out Another Thousand!

Got one of those, in 05 the kids got me an old glass boat for my birthday, they thought Dad needed a project. The real plan behind it in the son in law's head, he buys me the boat, Dad fixes it up and he get's to use it. But it was after my accident, my fall that smashed my ankle, I was finally walking again and did need something to fill time. I worked it for two years, mostly the motor, taking it all apart, replacing all seals, gaskets, water pump, tune up parts and any other parts that would may it reliable, last thing I wanted was a break down out in the middle of a big lake. Being an all fiberglass boat with a rock solid transom all it needed was new seats, some upgraded wiring and a lot of polishing the dulled finish.

It's a 1962 MFG boat, 1968 55HP Johnson motor sitting on a 1957 Gator trailer. The trailer I went completely through, new updated hubs, bearings, tires, new springs, I even found original hubcaps on ebay. Then I stripped completely down and repainted painted it. It's a cool old trailer, designed to launch from the beach but I never tried that, (see the flyer below). Did a lot of work on the eng, boat and trailer, I like it, old school, solid old boat that looks and runs good now. It did give me something to keep my mind and hands busy during a rough time of my life.

Here's some pages from old sales fliers I found online and a short cell phone vid the wife took the first day out in 07, all she caught was the rear of the boat as I left the dock. That was just months before I'd have to have the amputation. The kids have used it a few times since but I never launched it again after that day, I can't walk into the water if needed when launching it, I can't get my prosthesis wet so it just sets in the shop now.

I didn't realize that it was that long ago but..
Nearly a couple of years ago I phoned and old friend back in Pa. He said that he was trying to quit smoking and was using a cig-a-like from Wall Mart but wasn't all that happy with it's performance. So I sent him a Sigelei 50 watt box w/ battery, Kanger mini subtank, extra heads and half dozen bottles of my DIY Peanut Brittle juice. I hadn't talked with him since a couple of days of him receiving the package. I called him this morning and asked "well did you quit smoking"....answer was yes and still vaping the same setup that I gave him. I advised him that he should have a backup.

Yeah, he doesn't want to get caught in a situation where he can't vape and then be tempted to go buy a pack of cigs! He needs to build up redundancy of devices and a good depth of supplies ASAP! I've got some old stuff, little mods and atty's, I know I have a couple of the early eleaf isticks, bunch of Kanger T3S's and a few Protank II's if they would help or is he into better stuff then those? I can dig around and see what else I have, he's welcome to the stuff. Want me to see what I have tomorrow and PM you a list? I'll never use the stuff again.

I have a number of things that I could send him but he is not hurting for cash flow by any means.
I'll just let him buy from the over taxed Pa vape shops. But thanks.

Idk if you can launch that kind of boat like this, but this is my lazy-mans way so you don't have to go in the water... first put fenders on one side, disconnect the hook, attach rope from to cleat on boat to cleat on dock (or preferably have someone hold it), back the trailer down the ramp & slam on brakes. when putting it back on the trailer, I just drive it right up the trailer, with another person in the truck then I just connect the hook & have them pull it out.

There's also something I always wanted to try, the electric motor is the kind that can spot-lock & has a remote control, so I've always wanted to try remote controlling it from the dock while I park the truck, but I'm usually with at least one other person so it's not necessary, plus I'm skeert.

I do use it while on the boat though, I find it easier than the foot pedal. Here's a pic of me using the remote. I usually let whoever I'm with sit in the back & drive while I use the electric motor.
