I finally made up a couple feet of SS430 Clapton wire, 2 strands of 28 wrapped with 32 nichrome.
I had a little nudge, not often I buy an original tank but one is on the way.

Which kind of paint brushes is better Wooster or Purdy? I ruined the wooster one I was using for cutting edges & need a new 1"/25mm. Last time I just bought the 3-pack bc I figured it was a good value but I've only really used the smallest brush.

I did find I like the wooster rollers/naps better esp. the little 4.5x3/8 ones.

Also, how to clean a paint brush?

I've always used Purdy, never tried a Wooster.

I clean brushes by letting them soak in a detergent bath for a while to soften any dried paint up, then lots of soap and water followed by rinsing with lots of water.

I have both and I can't say one is better then the other, they both are quality brushes and will last you many, many years if kept clean and stored correctly. Video below is the way I clean mine with a couple of my own add ways. I tend to get paint all the way up to the metal, I like to use a smaller stainless steel or brass wire brush to work the paint from the bristles where they meet the metal instead of the one they show, brush carefully and only down toward the cut end. Shop Blue Hawk Stainless Steel Coarse Wire Brush at Lowes.com

I also have gotten by soaking Purdy brushes in pure purple power for a week before cleaning them using latex paint. I forgot I had set two brushes in the PP, was planning on cleaning them the next morning, when I found them a week later I was afraid I had ruined them but they clean up nicely. I wouldn't do it again as practice but overnight no harm, I may haven't gotten lucky the metal didn't rust, maybe it's stainless, not sure. Spin them dry and put them back in the cardboard they came in or roll them in paper as shown in the video, I use layers of newspaper with a piece of masking tape to hold it folded and it's worked fine for me.

Tried that coffee, pretty damn good, a little on the light side for first thing in the morning but tasty and would be great with dessert. Silencer Smooth Coffee Roast

Just came back from the gun shop with another one, little darker that they recommend, I plan on trying more as I go.
Just Black Coffee Roast

The guys also told me I should check out the company's youtube videos, said some were pretty funny, haven't yet but will later.

Nicest day we've had yet, almost 80 and sunny. Yesterday I finally got the son in law's suv back together and out of my shop after tying it up for 10 days... Wanted so bad to get some of my projects started today but didn't get far, replaced the broken tail light on my haul trailer and just feel like crap, couldn't take anymore. I suspect it's mostly lack of sleep and the damn steroids, but at least the steroids have reduced the spine pain. I just can't seem to win for loosing LoL. We'll try again tomorrow. :)

I just got done hauling the air conditioner up from the basement and installing it for the season. We were at 50 at 6:30 this morning and it topped out at 95 at about 3 this afternoon. Thankfully, the humidity is really low, for New Jersey anyway, in the low 20% range.

I'd rather watch poorly translated german reviews, than give that bellend a click or link.

"Not My Fav" Is the biggest understatement ever! I think He's a Di@k Head!
But some thing is lost in the translation :(
I hate to say this, I want to try one of these, but at clone $ not Authentic.

I have been known to buy the clones when they become available and put the Authentic in the classifieds.

Wow, long tails on that wick.
Speaking of wicks, I need to get my tail down to Sally's to pick up a box of rayon. I have about enough left for maybe one wick....yikes
I'll never run low again.
