A few years ago, my Dewalt drill batteries (nicad) died and batteries were as much as a new drill so I picked up a Bosch LiIon drill. Then I found out that Ridgid (HD exclusive?) has lifetime warranty for their power tools including batteries.

The Bosch drill has been awesome for me and the batteries still hold their charge and work just as long as when I first got it.

Im looking for a power tool line to replace my Craftsman C3 as the tools (I have just about every made) wear out. Has anyone tried the Rigid?

That's the one I have, other then the battery packs giving out (but they were covered under that warranty), it's been a good drill and still going strong.

I'm not much of a hand tool guy, My old Makita 12 volt is over 20 years old & still works great :)
Most of the building trades man, I see working today use Dewalt, right down to the Radio :)

I don't but I have used my friend's a couple of times and it works well. Had I known about the lifetime replacement guarantee including batteries, I would've got a Ridgid drill. My friends with the drill love them. 1 did get a battery replaced with no issues.

Dewalt for my contruction work, Bosch for the wood shop. Not that I have a preference of one over the other for construction work, I just prefer Bosch routers and sanders over Dewalt. I also have a Bosch portable table saw for construction work, the one with the self-rising table that everyone else has copied.

I got my $10 75 boards today, just open them and they have different, what they heck are they called? I'm having a brain fade moment, inventors (?) on the back, those two square pieces, never seen any DNA board with these before.
I asked on the beta site, we will see what Evolv says.

I'm pretty sure they're inductors.

Thanks Mike, I've seen these on China clones but a first for DNA's
Uhm.. No. You can't really have a modern DC-DC converter without an inductor. Every DNA board I've seen has had at least one. Quick & dirty pic:

I mean inductors that look like these, another brand from what I've seen Evolv use, my other DNA boards have inductors like in your pics. I have some old cloned boards I pulled from cheap China mods that have the same looking inductors.
