On another note, I'm definitely liking the Supreme V2! I've got to get a few more of these, like a half dozen or so, and some single coil decks, too.
Some years ago I took a tour of the WWII battle ship The North Carolina, you could crawl up inside the gun turrets and get idea what conditions were like for the men firing those big guns 16". The shells and gun powder bags would be hoisted from decks below up to the guns, 16 inch diameter massive shells the weight of a car. The men that controlled the action of the gun, loaded the shell and then the power bags stood a foot from that breach in an enclosed area with NO where to run, you crawled in that area and were sealed in behind a heavy steel door so if something went wrong hopefully the blast wouldn't take out everyone inside the turret. When the gun fired it would recoil back into that area on huge hydraulic cylinders. Those men had some big brass un's to stand there loading round after round during battle, better men then I could ever be!

TCR is so low, I'm surprised it works at all, which of course it didn't on the DNA40.Couldn't agree more! SS sucks in TC on a DNA, any SS any DNA! The Stupid thing is everyone is using it!
"Nickle is fickle while titanium is nuppin' but tasty."It's Ti or bust, but it remains the best kept secret in TC vaping
NiFe is a good alternative, high TCR and can be dry burned.
70% Ni
NiFe30
52% Ni
NiFe48
48% Ni
NiFe52
Awesome retailer with fast and inexpensive shipping.
I see they have a flat wire NiFe48 but it's only 0.1mm thick. I really like their 0.8mm x 0.2mm V4A (SS316L) and my next order will have some 0.8mm x 0.3mm in it.![]()
This alloy has me thinking, has anyone tried to use Ni & kanthol or Nichrome twisted or Claptoned? would that work in TC?
Curve is simple to make in Excel if you have the properties of the wires you are twisting.
So you use this? it's an alloy? FE is iron? so it's nickel & iron alloy?
iron is very prone to oxidization, does it rust?
Whats the difference between the different percentages?
Is it springy? Do you have to torch or straighten it? What wire is comparable for stifnes?
i'd like to try it, but I'm stocked up for ever with Ti.
I put 2 rolls one 24 & one 30 to make Clapton wire in my cart/basket it comes out to about $50 our money before shippingI'm afraid if I buy it I will not like it & waste my $50

Not for those of us who can't or won't vape anything with nickel in it.NiFe is a good alternative
zivipf.com lists Nife48 as having 52% Ni and Nife52 as having 48% Ni, They use to only carry the 48. This was confusing before, now I'm really confused. Crazywire sells both also.I'm pretty sure that zivipf nife48 is actually nife52 alloy but they list the iron content in the description instead of the nickel content. Last time I checked steamengine didn't have a .csv for nife48. The csv for nife52 works great for zivipf nife48.
